Entertainment Buildings, Decorations, or Resources

Suggestion: add an ‘Entertainment’ category under the buildings tab, or add such structures to the ‘Decorations’ tab (that increase entertainment for villagers). Things like: gazebo, swingset, playground, sandbox, firepit, wishing well, tetherball etc. -or- a Resource building or two that could offer entertainment: toy maker, sweets shop, herbal drinks etc.

(or currently existing structures like Plazas and Gardens could offer a small entertainment buff instead)

I’m in year 50, and far too many of my people are walking around with that frowny face above their head :frowning:

In the ‘Villager Happiness’ info panel, the Entertainment value stays under 30%. I have 270 people, with 2 Market Square neighborhoods, with a Festival Pole near each. Is my only option here to spam a bunch of the same Festival Pole buildings all over town? I don’t want to make my Town Center tier 3 at this time.

Probably since both the theatre and pub - which are the other buildings that provide entertainment - are on t3. Spamming festival poles might not do much. You’re likely better to bite the bullet and move up to t3.

Yes I plan to eventually. Just seems unfortunate that something the game tells you is necessary: entertainment - only has 1 (insufficient) solution. Entertainment requirement should be lower for Tier 2 Town Center (just like how beer is not yet a requirement) or there should be multiple options to remedy the issue. In my opinion at least.

(Could be as simple as the Plaza and Garden decorations supplying a small entertainment buff).
