Let me remind you that we still do not have the 1.3.0.5 patch on GOG. Of the 5 patches released on Steam we only had one: the one that breaks the DLC. I’m stuck waiting for this patch, like many other GOG users.
I buy your products on GOG with great pleasure but I feel badly considered while we pay the same price, with a much lower support. I understand that the patcher of GOG is difficult, but very small independent studios manage it, and you patch this game on GOG for 10 years. I think it’s a shame not to pay more attention to this platform, which works more than any other to preserve video games over time, but that’s another debate.
I know this message will get through the flow of discussion but I am disappointed and I need to verbalize it here. I think I’ll go play something else until the game stabilizes. I would obviously continue to buy your games because I absolutely do not question the quality of your work but I would rush less during your next outings.
It was inconsistent upon release, and I’m genuinely not sure if hotfixes changed it. She reset sometimes. Other times she restored health yet remained in phase 2, and puddles remained with her.
Edit: tested it now, I think I know what used to happen. She takes time to reset, doesn’t she? I guess it was possible before to return to arena before she did so. Now the arena door actually locks and stays locked for some time, not letting me back in until she despawns properly.
Most users are on steam instead of GoG, and it’s a small team that’s working on this expansion. Hardly surprising that it takes a few more days to get patches up on GoG.
Well. That was interesting. Downloaded the 3.0.0.0 to 3.0.0.4 patch on GOG as well as the 3.0.0.4 to 3.0.0.5 patch and when I tried to install the first patch ESET deleted the GrimDawn/Viewer.exe because it thought it was suspicious - extremely annoyed at ESET - and banjoed the whole thing! iv downloaded the new 3.0.0.5 game files and im going to reinstall the game.
Full reinstall is the way to go if you are installing from GOG manually. The GOG patch installers don’t work well. They are produced by GOG, not Crate, and don’t update the game properly. Full reinstall and you’re good.
(This is something Zantai has commented on over the years, not just me making stuff up.)
ESET is overrated garbage. I don’t use paid antivirus programs because most of the time, all they do is burden the system. I’ve used several supposedly top-tier ones, so I know what I’m talking about. The current Defender from MS is good enough to be completely sufficient for protection, and if you want to be sure you don’t have a virus, just scan your system with MalwareBytes every now and then; it’s much more effective than most paid antivirus programs.
Exactly, and on top of that, a healthy dose of self-preservation instinct, meaning don’t download or click on anything that seems suspicious. I’ve been using only Defender and MalwareBytes for years, and in all that time I haven’t had any problems with viruses.
I once had a Trojan that blocked my Windows about two minutes after system startup. Two supposedly top-tier paid antivirus programs detected it but couldn’t remove it. The free version of MalwareBytes removed it without a problem. Since then, I haven’t used any paid antivirus programs, just Defender and the occasional MalwareBytes scan, and I have peace of mind, even though I download a lot of stuff from the internet.
I really wish they would add a way to change class, even if it were just tue secondary class. I don’t like being locked in, whenever i get a new legendary I get an idea for an entire build and can’t do it because i’m locked into a specific class.
This is true, but getting a new piece just gets the juices flowing for a new build, and there are always going to be new pieces that are going to beg for a new build. that is what makes building alts so fun.
I keep seeing this request, but besides like…Baldur’s Gate 3 and FF14 (an MMO with a leveling jobs system), what game ever lets you change your class? Certainly no ARPGs.
