I am still playing my first game.
I sort of expected the first raids to be similar to the testing phase at 0.9.7g, what I got was almost triple the first quantity and the accuracy of the few towers I had was atrocious, two were destroyed despite covering fire from another two.
When I built the first building of a type the icon had a little scroll on it, which earned me knowledge, but why does building another not add to the knowledge rate?
I do like the raiders targeting other buildings, like my barns and chicken coops but when rebuilding the animals are replaced to the quantity that were there before, they should’ve been taken as loot and the raider retreating. Will that happen to buildings like storehouses, mills and cottage or industrial buildings? Doing so would force me to have multiple barracks and many more towers, a huge drain on finances. In the tech tree I saw some items re palisades and towers but the higher up the tree I go the longer it takes. The Academy requires paper but even that must be researched before being useful.
Many other things but so far this game has gone from being a pleasant time waster to a frustrating time consumer, something I wanted.
Im at year 15, and yeah the raids are much harder, even tho i have the medium settings for the raiders. Imo its a bit overtuned. I feel like i will fail to defend next time they come.
