Feedback on existing gameplay improvement and some future ideas - Household management, family tree, Military UI

Hello,

I know you mentioned you would like to keep feedback short, so even writing this little introduction is making me feel bad, but I will go for it anyways.
First and foremost, thank you for making a great game, I can only imagine how difficult it is to run a project like this.
A friend bought me the game for my birthday and I am so happy he did, because I am having so much fun! The game is amazing so far and I am on year 45 playing strictly on 1x speed. Most recently I have been playing Civilization 7, I have almost 3,000 hours in that game and I was looking for something different, this has been it for me. I even bought it for a friend for him to try, he also seems to be enjoying it.

I wanted to provide some feedback on current gameplay, and forgive me if I ask for something that may be available and I am not aware.

  1. Managing households: I would like to be able to select what villager lives in which home. For example, I built the slums and the luxury mansions, I don’t want my farmers living in the mansions while my guild masters live in the slums.
  2. Who is the leader? I know the answer is me, but, it would be cool to have a in-game villager as a leader, and as your town center grows, so does his role (example, tier 1, that villager works like all of the people but by tier 4 he is a King or a Noble). I know you said don’t theory craft too much, but I think the game has tremendous potential for family tree heritage bonuses similar to the technology tree. (create your own town symbol, put it on shields, banners, walls, etc.)
  3. Military UI: I know the game is not meant to be a war game, but the UI can use some work in combat. For example, when clicking to move units to a certain area, it would be nice if the triangles stayed until they reach that destination, that way after I move my screen, I can go back and see the exact spot rather than second guessing and then clicking “select units” and moving them again anyway.

I will leave it there for now and look forward to new developments in this game, best of luck in the new upcoming patch/DLC and thank you for doing this work!
