industrial area must be located far away from residential area because of desirability system, and that make sense, and it give a challenge to player. this is good
this makes production area and consume area have some distances.
but there is no means to move this goods except market vendor, which is stupid now, doesn’t cover all consumable(like tool, shoes, clothing)
this could be dealt by many measure, one of it is priority system between warehouse and add warehouse worker,
and another one is to make new profession and player can order worker to move specific amount of product from warehouse to another warehouse
and realistic one is to expand function of market(they also stock tool etc, and expand storage) and number of worker. or is to make new market
or there could be more genious way to move product efficiently but this is only thing i can give to you.
plz consider!
Exactly. Why should they be having to do all this running around?
There has been a suggestion, which I really like, to have a dedicated corps of villagers whose only job is to deliver resources to the manufacturers and processors, and deliver finished products to the trading post, the markets, and the storage facilities. Requiring the two trading post personnel to do all this running around is part of the reason delivery is so difficult and we end up with resources not getting to where they need to go.
Along with the above suggestion, my opinion is that this task could be fulfilled by wagons. We can build many wagon shops, so there’d be many wagons to take care of the above, and to deliver harvested foods, herbs, roots, etc., to the storage and the trading post and the markets. They could carry food and supplies to the outlying hunters, fisherfolk, and foragers.
