Is it known if EoR adds off-hand damage while DW?
Is attack speed or cast speed applied to EoR?
According to the description it would:

Since it’s actually a channeled spell, my best guess would be that it’s cast speed.

As i said i’m no expert, but i had the impression that for a shield build you need max recovery time (whereas oathkeeper got no skill to buff it) and overguard for overall shield buff. Oathkeeper seem to have some shield sinergy but nothing spectacular when it come to shield block (recovery time, dmg blocked and such) or am i missing something?
No worries, my wording perhaps sounded harsher than intended.
Optimized shield buffs are always better (obviously :D), but are in no way a requirement or necessity to run a EoR build.
Run with what you have.
But the Oathkeeper does have a formidable shield synergy:

Just thought that some soldier shield skill were so good that you might actually shouldn’t even try to go for a shield build if you don’t have those, if you know what i mean.

The Pet + Aura of Censure seems like a great combo.
A CDR Ascension build could also be very interesting.
I can see a DEE build coming out from the Sentinel with the awesome vitality and acid support that the Oathkeeper has. Maybe even a new DW Acid build with the Devish with a focus on transmuted Righteous Fervor. There is just so much that could be done with the Oathkeeper after looking over everything in grimtools. I can’t wait until we get the items in so we can start theorycrafting with the new bonuses.
1.No RR (except phys / fire).
2.No support cold / lightning / chaos / aether / piercing / bleeding.
3. Idiot double converting (Fervor + Scion of Dreeg)
4. Huge mana requirements for skills.
5. The path of the three - the converting of phys and fire into acid. Why not in vitality or another type of damage?
6. bleeding on tectonic shift. What for?
7. burn / trauma. How to deal with damage types that don’t have dots and who will lose damage from them?
8. Aether Opressor or cold/piercing Dervish = Defiler’s younger brothers?
Yes, until we see new items and the rebalance of old items, all claims are theoretical.
But I did not really like the new mastery at first glance.
Give us more full converts from any to any type of damage. Give us more items with any/ full convert - not to skills. (like gladiator belt or beronath reforged)

Depends on how you look at it I guess. I suggest you read our preview of the Oathkeeper mastery because that is actually exactly what we were going for when we came up with this mastery. We kinda thought like acid could use more skill options, but a shield mastery is kind of a logical next step. So how do we combine those two things. And then of course there’s the Paladin theme we really like, and then it hit us. Paladins in the traditional sense are holy warriors, but Paladins as seen in the past kind of depends on which god you’re worshipping so that’s how we came up with the Oathkeeper design. Like Oathkeepers are bound to the gods, but it really depends on which god you’re worshipping. If you worship Empyrion then you might be a righteous holy warrior sending fire down upon your enemies. But if you bind yourself to the Witch Gods that’s a different story and that’s how we get all this acid theme where you bind yourself to Dreeg, the Great Guardian."

Is Eye of reckoning scaling on cast speed? Had this feeling since i noticed the low %weapon dmg. looks like a spell to me.
