The only change they’ve made is the one that removes DRM - great ofcourse, but it doesn’t do much for the core game.
Anyway, I read your review, it offers some helpful points. Mostly that the controls and the AI are awful
I’d really like to see someone comparing it to Populous 3 though, as that seems to have been their inspiration. I loved that game.

Nope. Did you get Serious Sam 3? As that’s the new king of the current Doom-legacy, imho.
Although, you know, if you must get it out of your system… don’t expect much though. Definitely not the worst game I ever played, but why play a mediocre game if there’s much better games in the same genre? Another question you should perhaps ask yourself is if you really want to support that kind of games…
Glad to hear, and yeah from the Trailer with the combat system, it looked intense and real, it looks like you are in great danger throughout lol. Looking forward to playing it
I paid $7 for the bundle, I almost bought Lume for $7 last year so this particular bundle was a no brainer for me. Burning the DvD now so I can cart all these gigs home
Shogun 2 - $15
Dead Island - $15
Dead Space 2 - $7
Bulletstorm - $6
Just Cause 2 - $6
Darkspore - $7
Few others too…
Anyways Dead Island is a steal at that price and is a really fun game with a lot of content. Also for $7 you can’t go wrong with Darkspore. Yeah the online is practically dead, but for so cheap just play it through enjoy it and be done.
I’ve enjoyed all these games, and you can get every single one of the for $10 which for the amount of game you would get is frankly an amazing value.
Also, if you already have NWN2 and haven’t played Storm of Zehir and enjoyed RPG’s from back in the day like Pool of Radiance definitely pick that one up for $3. Really fun game that brought back a lot of memories playing the old Gold Box games from SSI.
Dead Island is definitely worth $15. That’s one of the best bad games I’ve played in a long time. What I mean is there is a lot about the game that’s really cheesy or just plain bad, yet somehow it doesn’t stop it from being really fun. Does that make sense?
Edit: That Neverwinter Nights deal is indeed insane. The only thing I’m missing is Mysteries of Westgate, luckily I can get that separately for like 3 bucks.
I think it is. But I’d also pick up all the DLC while it is 66% off as well… I wouldn’t get the Augmented Edition though… unless you really like that kind of stuff (artbook, comic, interviews, etc.)…
if you played the original game, then you will be disappointed a bit, better then the second game but still not as good as the first
I was disappointed in it, I have it, but don’t really play it, it just doesn’t really do anything for me, while I have played the original countless times
at that price, give it a go, but to be honest with you, I wouldn’t really bother
Yeah, the first game casts such a large shadow. Human Revolution is certainly better than Invisible War, but the standard the first game set is just so high that it’s really difficult to live up to. I feel Human Revolution is worth playing though, certainly at that price.
