gog.com is having their summer sale right now…aside from tons of discounted games they are giving away Torchlight for free. Servers are under heavy load though so may have to keep trying throughout the day.

Defender’s Quest is 67% off (~$5) on Steam, and even better, the Humble Store via the official site (defendersquest.com) until July 1st. Their is a demo there, and buying that way also gives you a Steam key, if you want it.
I’ve been sinking entirely too many hours into this since I got it two days ago and only just finished the storyline. Still need to complete some more stages on extreme, then it’s on to New Game+! There are also supposed to be mods.
The story is very entertaining, and the gameplay is addictive. More than worth the $5, imo.
