- The food stockpile warning, I clearly have 5 months of food left, which will trigger the warning. And this warning cannot be eliminated. Because of the rot system in the game, it is impossible for people to keep food for more than 8 months.
- Buildings such as iron ore mines will be unlocked after upgrading in the town centre, but is refining iron ore a level 3 technology? Do I need to mine iron ore ahead of time? It doesn’t make sense. And the materials of the second-level mill require the third-level technology output, which is extremely unreasonable.
- UI bootstrapping is basically negligible and I don’t even know how much of my population is free at first. There are also some jobs that will disappear after a while.
- The crop rotation system of farmland is a good idea, but it lacks experience. First of all, if you alternate planting every year, the increase in fertility is far less than that of composting. Secondly, the setting of weeds disgusts me deeply. I even need to set aside a year to eradicate the weeds, which will not be completely eliminated. Although I don’t know how farming in the Middle Ages was, from my experience, first of all, farmers would clear the weeds in the land after harvesting the crops, and if the crops had straw, they would burn the straw in the field to increase the fertility of the land and remove weeds. Regarding the issue of wheat, which I really want to complain about, in the Middle Ages, there were obvious means of manual processing, and the mill was just the product of technological progress, which caused my people to not eat wheat at all in the early days.
- The building unlocking system is too random, and it is often found that it has not been unlocked when needed. It is recommended to change it to the method of church research. Or build a research system. And setting religion and scientific research are opposites, players need to master the balance of the two, both development and social stability.
I’ve read other people’s feedback, and some of them have already said it, so I won’t repeat it.
I really like this game, I hope the production team can hurry up and modify it. Hope my feedback is useful.
