Game stop loading

When i try to launch a save the game start loading but stop near the end and doesn’t start at all, it also crash a few times when i tried to load older saves.

Deleting and re’installing the game doesn’t work, the problem comes from my saves, it can’t load anymore. Lauching a new game still work but i don’t know what to do to access my save.

In order to alleviate numerous reported issues involving Windows OneDrive, we have made the decision to migrate the save directory to C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\Farthest Frontier. Upon launching the game for the first time in v0.9.6, you will be prompted that a one-time data migration will be performed. If your system does not have sufficient space on that drive, you will receive a warning and the process will exit. Note: the Saved Games directory can be relocated to any drive on your PC by right-clicking it and selecting Properties.

For anyone experiencing issues with the automatic save migration, please try the following Go to OneDrive and pause sync for 1 hour. Open the C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Documents\my games\Farthest Frontier\Save directory. It may also exist inside C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Farthest Frontier. Thanks but the problem is that only my lastest save won’t open, starting a new game or using an older save works

We recently addressed a couple rare instances of saves failing to load, fixes for which will be in the upcoming v0.9.7 update.

If you upload that save, we can see if it is similarly impacted.

Saves are located in:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\Saved Games\Farthest Frontier\Save

Zip up the entire TownName_###### folder along with the .map file and .sav that reproduces the issue. If the files are too big, you can use a service such as Google Drive to share it with us.

Looks like your save was hitting a nullref on load. The team looked into the issue and addressed it for the upcoming v0.9.7 update.
