With 1.0.0.7 they introduced a different Camera. You could zoom way more out, and in the maxed out Zoom you are pretty much above your Character, less isometric and more visibility also less Camera Rotation(which looked also more classic like Diablo and such). While 1.0.0.6 was pure Isometric. You had, even if you zoomed out the most, still change the Camera via Rotation. The Hotfix 2 now changed it back… to the more classic way. And that’s my critique. I find they should’ve simply added an Option where you could choose 1.0.0.6 Camera and the 1.0.0.7 Camera…
The only thing we could hope for beyond the current fixes would be a Restored Fire of the Warping.
I’ll miss my Sab.
But I’ll cope/update now.
Happy holidays, Crate.
I do agree that the 1.0.0.7 camera was better but it may not be so simple to give two different settings for camera angles, especially on short notice. There were a lot of people upset / thrown off by the change, and obviously Crate was in a hurry to try and please those players before they were off for the holidays.
With time, such an option might be possible.
Thanks a lot for your dedication to such a great game.
Just also wanted to add to the wish of having the superior top-down camera from 1.0.0.7 added back in has an option in the future if possible.
Happy holidays
Sorry to have given you a new camera angle and then taken it away.
Unfortunately, sometimes it’s best to just make a decision on something and go with it. There have been many times throughout development where people wanted options or sliders for things and if we had implemented them all, the game would have probably 50 or 100 sliders and options… and that’s why we have modding. While not everything in the game can be modded, the good news is, the camera is easy to mod and the settings can be found in gameengine.dbr
Merry Christmas medierra. Thank you for taking out time to post here during Holiday Season.
Really we appreciate it
have you played marvel heroes anytime lately? This game has a slider and a button for nearly everything, the options menu scrolls for days

Pretty brutal potion nerf considering HP pots are still on a longer cooldown. Was the potion nerf necessary? They were overpowered lol?
You just buffed mobs across the board seems like an odd time to nerf potions. I’m trying to get some new people into the game haha. Anyway not a super big deal still the best ARPG but pots were fine.
Merry Christmas!
I’m one of those who were extremely dissatisfied with the new camera (but not the only one, judging by the threads here and on reddit). Needless to say, I’m very happy they’ve changed it back to the way it was.
I’m sorry that there are people who liked the new camera and now don’t have it. Like Medierra says, it sucks being given something and then have it taken away. I guess people who liked the old camera felt that way.
I think it would be great if there was a mod, so that people who want can have the 1.0.0.7. camera.
Apparently we can establish the rule that any change that is not a buff will find someone that complains about it…
Health potions are not on a longer cooldown than in 1.0.0.6, on the other hand flat health seems to actually be 500, not 800. Note sure which one is the typo, the DB entry or the post
Still though nerfing potions seems kinda unwarranted. Also, i could be wrong but the enemy OA still feels different from 1.0.0.6 despite that hotfix. Did i miss something?
Wasn’t here for the potion crisis but I believe energy potions are reverted back to what they were before and health potions were given less of a cooldown in which case healing for less makes a bit of sense as they can be used far more often.
I’ll see how it plays out as I think I’ll roll another grenado/cannister bomb build - or perhaps continue with my night’s chill/flash freeze/shadow strike build.
And the enemy OA is it pre-1.0.0.7 or did the hotfix only fix the bosses OA?
I agree to that, I just do not see it as a big deal either way
Also, i could be wrong but the enemy OA still feels different from 1.0.0.6 despite that hotfix. Did i miss something?
I am not entirely sure how to interpret that data (or if it is even the relevant entry). First line is 1.0.0.6, second line is 1.0.0.7

Hmm. Oh well thanks Mamba.
And i know this isn’t a place to ask this but can someone tell me how to kill the cloud in Valbury? I saw it (multiple times) when i did it on normal with my DEE WH before going away for a small vacation. Today i plan to enter it with my dw melee aether build. And assumed that thing might be a problem.
CD for health stayed the same, the only change compared to 1.0.0.6 is lower flat health (500 instead of 1200)
CD for energy was decreased (25 sec down from 30) with flat energy down (250 instead of 500) but percentage up slightly (35%, was 33)
the aether clouds ? you cannot kill them, but they disappear after 40 or so seconds
I did Valbury on Elite and didn’t really have a problem with those clouds, they don’t seem to be killable though. They didn’t do a great deal of damage to my character, so they’re definitely not a huge threat like the ground aether.
Oh.
I guess i never noticed them disappearing. I know i could outrun them easily. But that was normal, and now i am going in Ultimate
