Grim Dawn 1.0.0.7 Hotfix 2

It was explained by the devs that they intended to increase Ultimate OA by 5% but accidentally increased it by 10%. Post hotfix it’s at the 5% increase from 1.0.0.6.

Its still pigeonholing all builds into full Defensive - glass cannons are almost impossible to play on Ultimate, not to mention Gladiator Crucible.

Crucible’s Difficulty scaling is completely separate from the campaign. Raising OA in Ultimate does not affect Gladiator.

Wasnt aware - then i guess my Markovian WB getting in serious trouble after wave 130 vs 1.0.0.6 should be a placebo effect lol or the nerfs in total are more serious than i anticipated. Anyway, good to know.

Thanks for your support, but the Primal strike (torrent) is still broken

  1. Chain Lightning no longer strikes a single target

  2. A shot of a gun does not activate the chain Lightning in the far distance

Please, please, PLEASE correct it in the next hotfix!

For best results, create a post in the Bug Reporting forum and be sure to note it’s for 1.0.0.7 HF2.

Some of the really slow undead heroes now run super fast. That Harros Dread hero was running so fast that he was pushing other undead out of the way.

Thanks for the hotfixes, very professional of Crate/its devs.
Merry Christmas.

Still no update for GOG users.:undecided:

What is this bullshit? As someone who pays your debts, I DEMAND YOU to take a break, enjoy your family and holidays.:furious:

Jokes aside, merry christmas and thank you all for making the best aRPG since the beginning of time.

I believe that’s a deliberate change to make them a bit more interesting

It seems all skeletal enemies got a %move speed boost. It’s more noticeable on heroes, but revenants and priests are moving faster. I’ve just fought Kilrian on rocket skates.

By the way, did someone notice changes to Zantarin on aspirant crucible (and maybe challenger and gladiator)? Before this patch, Zantarin was like a free nemesis on crucible, all he did was walk, turn on his bubble and do almost 0 damage. Now he did some sort of multiple red projectile attack that almost killed my witchblade, which has 86% vit res and over 14k hp, twice. From useless to dangerous.

That’s the vitality shotgun attack that tends to oneshot some people. It also deals health reduction, acid damage and lifesteal. Some people did complained that he was too passive in Crucible and i guess they fixed that.

Besides buffing the undead heroes movement speed, i swear they are harder to kill. It took me 10 minutes to kill Kilrian with my Cadence Commando on Veteran and i noticed he hits considerably harder than before.

In addition to movement speed undead were also buffed in general.

Explains why Elemental Skeletal Knights are also stronger. I do find hilarious watching Kilrian run as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog.

Wait, does it mean Moosilauke was also buffed? Oh boy.

Kilrian has aways a mess, specially for melee characters, ever since they buffed him a bit before the patch for the oficial release of GD…

He has that purple flame around him, he has that purple vortex, which not only is just as damaging, but can stack with his purple flame, making the damage from both pretty high, even if you stand in those vortexes for 1 sec, then he got that flying sperm attack, which is EXTREMELY annoying, despite being easy to avoid, and on top of that, he has a debuff as well and life leech…

They should tone him down a bit, at least on Normal/Veteran, because he is extremely dangerous for self-found, non-twinked characters… At least with his increased movement speed, it’s a bit more easier to draw him away from those vortexes, but he is still overtuned for Normal AND Veteran.

I wanted to “test kill” Kilrian to see if it was indeed harder to kill him now, and ran in to Moosilauke on the way.
So, Moosilauke was actually easier now, probably because of the buff to Laceration, and Kilrian was as easy as before.
If you have problems killing him, you probably haven´t enough life leech resitance…?

:undecided:

I facetank Kilrian with my 2H Bladearc witchblade …

And no, “toning down” is not necessary. If we nerf all challenging bosses … nah.

I’m talking about Veteran where my current Commando has crap gear and barely any devotions. He’s level 34 btw.

In Elite and Ultimate i pretty wreck his shit in less than 20 secs. I just think with the buffs to OA and undead in general, he’s more difficult on Veteran.

Good for you? It doesn’t means that all builds can facetank him easily… Nobody is asking for a hard nerf to ALL bosses (strawman FTW!), but just to make him more accessible on Normal difficulty, where he is ridiculously dangerous even on non-veteran sessions (I tested it with several characters, and most had issues with him).

Just finished The Conflagration - Herald Of Flame on Ultimate. Really big pain for less powerful char. Took too much time to defeat.
But I was able to kill Ultimate Kirlian with the same char without issues.
