I think we can all agree that whatever Grim Dawn 2 brings to the table,the thing we can be sure of is the dual mastery system continuing,its basicaly a staple of grim dawn/titan quest
But simply doing the same thing all over again just in a prettier wrapper would not feel like enough progres over what came before
How about this: every mastery combination gets acces to its own extra mini tree ,think like wow’s hero talents maybe,this mini tree would have acces to unique things only for that combination
A necromancer + soldier could get more defensive talents,and a new ability that fits that death knight fantasy,wile a necromancer + occultist would get a more magical and pet oriented skill and passives.
I’m actually for having unique passives/skills being available to a specific mastery combination, but maybe have them be levelled in a different manner.
It’s not a bad idea and gives the class combination a unique feel.
