Hello early October
Octoberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
It’s early October!!
I can smell the release
October Rust
ZANTAI,
Really looking forward to the expansion being released on Oct 11.
I’m writing as a KS Backer who suffered from a Crucible release error in which certain KS tiers were missing Crucible DLC keys and could not play. As a refresher, here is your quote regarding the resolution and a link to the thread.

I am hoping that you get a chance to read this prior to the Oct 11, and that we can head off at the pass any errors associated w/ “Grim Dawn Digital Release + Expansion” KS tiers this time around. I’d really like the opportunity to play the day it is released.
Thank you and good luck to the whole team on the release of the expansion,
Lian
Looks very nice
Will the expansion be distributed via GoG and Steam at the same time?
Wake me up, September has ended!
Has anyone already posted that a lot of new achievements are shown on Steam?
Yes

Will the expansion be available a couple hours before official launch for purchase and download?
Don’t think so, Maybe from the official website, but I think on steam we won’t getting it earlier then normal.
same goes for GoG I guess
New to the game, happy to be part of this community!
Well there goes the second half of the month
On Reddit, people are saying (Zantai and Ceno) that most item based conversions do not change the visual effect of the skills, specifically for an item that changes AAR to 100% Lightning damage.
So is this visual change with Flames of Ignaffar the only exception, or one of the few exceptions, or does a decent number of 100% conversions achieved by item modifiers actually change the appearance of the skill?
Bit of a shame that the visuals don’t always change, but I guess that’s understandable if it’s a lot of work. I suppose it’s not too bad with AAR at least, since the original skill has a bit of blueylightningness in it anyway. Hopefully the ones they decided to implement colour changes on are the ones where the old and new magic types are so far removed from each other in terms of colour that it’d look weird as hell if they didn’t do so.
I agree, and I suppose that that’s the logic they were following. As you say, AAR can pass as a lightning skill, to a degree.
And I completely understand that it would be a huge amount of work to change everything, but I can’t help not to think about how cool the game could look if these changes were implemented.
Do you know if this could be done by the community, through a mod, and if yes, how hard would it be (I’m not talking about time, I’m talking about technical knowledge needed to tweak these visuals)?
I know little of modding in GD so I’ve no idea how hard is actually is, but I’d like to think it’s at the very least possible. If Crate can do it, then I imagine others probably can too.
the illusionist is account wide? or char/wide :undecided:
