Well Grava’s bridge level that will be secretly thrown into the expansion will definitely take a couple of months to complete which I’m fine with
GD TQIT Secret Passage inspired level confirmed.

Well done guys, you truly deserve it ;^)
Congrats on the 1M mark. Well done!
I’m dying for my Necro, but I’ll wait till he’s fully cooked.
Well earned and richly deserved. You’ve truly created something special.
Here’s to the next million!
Congratz!
More than well deserved! Alles Gute auch weiterhin! <3
Great Game, well deserved, my favourite game of all time, congratulations to the Crate team!
Must be pretty damn awesome to be among the few Kickstarter success stories Pillars, Wasteland 2, Torment, Divinity and Grim Dawn.
I knew GD would have no issues in selling just over 500k - But to see it reach a million? Must be incredible to come from a very humble beginning with a reasonable budget, and coming super close to expected AAA sales on Exclusive games.
Here’s to more sales and success to the Expansion, and the next big project to come from you guys. Hell, maybe even a second Expansion to go with the first, possibly a sequel?! GRIM DAWN FRANCHISE!
Congratulations Crate!
All I can say is thank you for making such awesome game. You guys deserve much more credit and I firmly believe that this milestone is just the beginning.
Congratulations to you guys at Crate
I honestly do hope the expansion doubles this number and excited about the future project it is being speculated that medierra is interested in RTS genre correct?
This from Medierra back in 2011.
“Dawn of Discovery isn’t available on Steam and, while it looks closer to what I want, it sounds like it isn’t exactly what I’m looking for either. It seems the only solution is to make my own strategy / town-builder game. I’ll have to get right on it as soon as Grim Dawn is finished!”
That’s a nail in the coffin if I ever saw one
congratulations guys
I’m glad the game did so well, it deserves it. I haven’t played in a very long time but I backed you in alpha and got 100s of hours out of Grim Dawn so if you ever do a complete expansion I’ll be in for it.
Great news!
Hope the funds raised give you guys a solid base to build on further, whatever you may try.
Always waiting for updates regarding future content and projects.
Good luck, and let’s make it grow even more!
Congratulations
Great to see this bit of news! Happy to know you guys are doing well and you will be getting your feet wet in another genre. I think I speak for a lot of us in saying you will have our continued support!
Love your Signature
I saw the thread where this was posted and could never quote it since Jiaco had closed after you joined the discussion :D:D
So how close is Anno to Age of Empires? I mean I’d try it but Ubisoft are the publishers so I am having major second thoughts
I can’t even remember what thread it was but if you find it and you want to make it an actual quote you could just copy the text and put it between quote tags
QUOTE=jiaco;post numbers here]wordswordswords[/quote
Then just mouse over the post number to get the url link
http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showpost.php?p= <the 6-digit number after the ?p= would be what you put in “post numbers here” example above.
Or you could just type by hand “Originally Posted by jiaco” if you don’t want to mess with all that.
That’s the one annoying thing about locked threads. No real simple way to copy and paste a proper quote quickly without messing around like above.
Especially when the comments in those threads are far better than in other “functioning” threads
Thanks for this, i’ll keep this in mind next time i come across something interesting
Anno has less need for fighting iirc as it’s been a VERY long time since I tried Age of Empires. I prefer the older versions - 1503 and 1701 - over the newer ones.
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for really. If pure city builder type then Children of the Nile and Banished are the most recent ones I’ve played.
