Umm, flat retal on phys gear was cut in half mostly so it’s just a litt;e giving back on a devotion that is uncomfortable to max btw and gives the poorest affinity in the game. it’s usually 5 points straight to shield wall.
Also Messenger of war is Fire now instead of phys

- Shadow Dance: increased Defensive Ability scaling with rank to 120 by rank 12, 220 by max ultimate rank. Added % Reduced Trap Duration.
Great, but can you please clarify how it works on Blade Barrier? It is a passive bonus even when not actively using it, right?
Oak Skin: replaced % Health Regeneration with % Aether Resist

Savagery: fixed an issue where % Weapon damage scaling at ultimate ranks did not actually increase damage. As the skill was balanced around this bug and it is now fixed, we’ve adjusted % Weapon damage scaling at ultimate ranks. This is a net buff.

Resilience: reduced % Physical Resist scaling with rank to 12% by rank 12, 18% by max ultimate rank
4 % nerf at 12/12. Well, my Archon got hit a little more than expected.

Got to say the Visual conversion FX being changed based on damage types is a thing I didn’t expect we’ll ever get. That is awesome! Always thought it’s too complicated to actually be implemented.
Hehe, rip retal Warlord, it was nice month with you, time to respec to beyblade now. Also, the Shattered realm amulet… I have destroyed several Beronath Eyes in order to save Seal of Annihilation… Just to need the Eyes again now. FML
plot twist: nothing is that complicated to create in grim dawn engine. So shapeshifting could be a thing sooon to be done in this engine. It’s just devs could be busy doing something else or just love to turn into their lazy mode 
As for me, best patch so far. People are going to bitch about Dying God being “destroyed” or however they’ll call it, but in reality we all know that this devotion was the most powerful one in the entire game for way too long and people only picked it for crit damage, total speed and also the massive OA it grants (85 + 3%).
I think that reducing or removing the OA from its nodes could be the next step if nothing would change after this patch too.
Someone said that Octavius was hit most, while during the entire patch I read “reduced physical retaliation”, “replaced physical retaliation with fire retaliation”, “removed physical retaliation”. Yup, Octavius got hit the most.
Another thing is I saw someone bitching that “Crate hit all retaliation builds instead of Warlords”, and I say this is totally bullshit. I’ve tried some retaliation builds (theorycraft, that’s what I needed only) and I saw that elemental retaliation varies between 80k to 300k (one of the element focused), Acid about 150 - 250, and physical… yeah… 280 - 400k… That’s with all buffs, procs, temporary, whatever. And as Warlord could get a fuckton of RR (over 60? don’t remember now) by just holding one button, the damage was increased from fuckton to enormous fuckton. People seem to not realize how physical damage and resistance works, therefore they’re complaining that all retaliation builds were hit, when physical retaliation was only tweaked to not be the strongest in the game. Although, from looking at the changes, I feel like it’ll still reach too high amounts, but we’ll see.
I call it a very good job. There’s nothing unfair in this patch and people who play this game to have fun will agree with me, as they don’t mind stuff being weak, but they will mind stuff being too strong.
I tested it and it’s no longer dps loss. Can’t say it’s a gain but i gues in a really short 4 sec fight if you crit with it then it might be a bit of a gain
There goes my quest to facetank Callagadra with a Warlord. (non retaliation). How am I supposed to feel immortal now?

Firstly thanks for the patch. A lot in this is really nice and it must have taken a while to implement these changes 
Some change are a bit confusing though.
Resilience was often a one-pointer skill because it has low up-time and each point yields very little; it is no blast shield. It needs a more compelling reason to invest in it if anything.
Ascension being nerfed is also unfair, it has significantly less damage absorb than inquisitor seal and up-time and in exchange the character has no mobility restriction. It was already never appealing to invest into for some. The defence up-time should have been preserved and other stats nerfed instead.
Being a caster as Oathkeeper is even worse for defence now 
Overall feels are possitive but that is mostly due to the amazing art/FX updates - appreciate all the Team`s work on that!!!

Shattered Realm Ward: removed bonus to All Skills
This really guts several melee builds - like the DW Acid Dervish. Please, reconsider. It is a defensive oriented Beronath eye obtained in the highest levels of Shards - dont see anything wrong with it.
Phy Retaliation nerfs - my sensei Fluff assures me even with the nerfs his Warlord (which i finally build and managed to gut Callagadra with it) is still going strong - so even if a bit out of line when min-maxed it should still be top tier.
Mageslayer amulet -7% less elemental resits sucks but such is life 
Ascension - CD Duration increase is really too much, please leave it at 20 sec base or reduce CD with ranks - it gives much less dmg absorb vs Seal and is a mandatory survival crutch for all non tanky Oathkeeper combos. Retal dmg reduction makes sense to be reduced.
Blade Barrier - i hope the CC resits is a passive right? Otherwise completely pointless change. Right??
