Is that a hidden conversion or a percentile increase in dmg? Does it work with Shard of agrivix? Do these stacks?
After a long time, Grim Dawn finally gives esteem 2 handers they deserves.
_ Increased base damage of 2h melee and ranged weapons at levels 26+ by 3-15%. This increase is more significant at higher levels.
_ Faction - Adjusted values on 2h weapon-specific Augments to be double (or higher) of the 1h weapon versions

If that elemental->physical conversion is for real that opens up some fascinating possibilities. I’m a little sad my S&B Cadence/Discord Battlemage doesn’t have a weapon anymore though. That combo was already exceptionally hard to gear for.
I thought it was a toggleable aura? Should still be usable, unless you really relied on the existing proc.
I’de say Beronath’s and Inferno’s change to Phys Reduction opens up some more synergies between Soldier/Arcanist than before. Transmuted CT with Beronath is now a huge source of Internal Trauma.
Like the rest of changes as well.
Legendary - Mindwarp: increased % Attack and Cast Speed to 18%, removed % Cooldown Reduction. Skill proc now activates off of all attacks, lasts 3s and has no cooldown, bonuses updated.
Yes! Now my Aether Cadence Battlemage has basically 100% Physical to Aether at all times.
Edit: I got excited for nothing. The proc only converts around 18% from physical to Aether. Bleh, back to being mediocre.
Yeah, I guess it’d still work without that. The existing proc wasn’t entirely necessary, but it definitely helped some on a pretty mediocre build to begin with. Losing the base conversion on the weapon itself is also sort of a bummer for any damage dealt by non-Cadence hits, like Targo’s Hammer or whatever.

Why buff the light defender set build with stun jacks and storm totem by a lot and nerf trozan set removing resist reduction from the comet and nerfing wind devil devotion proc?
Light defender was waaaaaaay superior at damage and tankiness already.
Comet wasn’t nerfed. You overestimated the benefit of the % Resist Reduction.
Quick Jacks are a little weaker than before, overall.
Will this convert vitality decay into frostburn damage (a la internal trauma conversion via physical)?

And Beronarth changes… it’s very odd to me. Pure phys trozans and olexra? Interesting.
It’d make the -Phys Res on Olexra’s finally have a good use.

It definitely works like that. You can see this clearly with Discord, it transmutes the trauma from Deadly Momentum into burn/frostburn/electrocute.
This aura though, even more fun: physical storm totem (now with added trauma too), physical/bleed savagery, physical/bleed primal strike… thinking about it, a warder with all that lightning converted into physical will be quite strong. Convert every single lightning bolt/nova proc as well, it just doesn’t end.
EDIT: going to try converted elemental seekers in a bit, that should be hilarious (although the rest of the constellation, still very mediocre).
