Grim Dawn Version 1.1.9.0

  • Mythical Deathdealer’s Sidearm: increased % Attack Speed to 18%. Increased Activation Chance for the granted skill to 15%, reduced its Cooldown to 2s and added 100% Projectile Passthrough for it.

awesome

In the instance of monsterdb-sr, it is correct.

What @grey-maybe neglects, however, is that damage stats on monsters are substantially lower than on players, and a 100% addition to Kaisan’s physical modifier is incredibly potent. grey also neglects that monsters at cap are not level 100, but instead around 104 or slightly higher. But that’s a minor issue.

The main point being that a few extra OA/crit damage/% damage, even if they’d be small buffs for players, are grossly powerful increases for enemies. Enemy/Player stat evaluation is not equatable. One may notice that this change has given Kaisan about 1500 more autoattack damage (raw, pre-crit) which can make or break encounters with characters whose health is measured in the lower ten thousands.

E: There’s a reason Kaisan has these passives in SR, after all.

/>12 OA increase
/>92% physical damage to monstrous flat damage

guess what actually led to the damage increase.

i was mocking patch notes for saying about tiny OA/DA increase, yet being silent of the %damage increase, which is 200 times more dangerous than such OA.

whoops, my bad

Well, there’s no error, it shows affix for item level 1. Skill level depends on item level and no item is selected, so you could say that raw affix values are shown (skill in this case). To see actual values you should select appropriate item in calc. Same goes for all affix props, cause most props scale based on the item they are attached to.

Why have they nerfed Scales of Ulcama, like that wasn’t niche enough already?!

I blame @Crittrain

They need to put it back right now, especially the ADCTH

Wasn’t the resist reduction also a bit higher (24?) a few patches ago, or did I just imagine that?

1.1.8.0

  • Tip the Scales: reduced Resist Reduction to 20 and reduced damage

Absolute fiends!

I only have it on 1 char so far (PB Witchhunter, still levelling, helps tremendously with energy) but I was going to utilise it on an upcoming Infiltrator build.

And they’ve also gone and reduced the health and removed the OA on it too.

What the hell were they thinking?!

but what a crybaby

It’s a constellation that solves all energy issues, gives flat RR, and doesn’t take up an attack to proc. Compare the nodes and proc to Rhowan’s Crown and especially to Manticore, then tell me how bad it is.

Because it was (and probably still is) among the best constellations in the game.

its still the best devotion in entire game. ADCTH (even only 3% now)/ mana regen and leech/ passive flat RR/ hugh life leech proc (especially with 2 handed weapon and vitality conversion if you can get it). before this patch its OP in everyway

What happened to your tactician?

I had an early 2019 alkamos scythe blademaster who LOVES these changes.

I never said it was bad. I always thought it was good, even though nobody seemed to use it. But I don’t think it was deserving of (another) nerf.

Nobody was using it prior to flat RR inclusion. After that became jack of all trades devotion - healing, energy problems solver and even provided nice stats on top. Nerfs were warranted, although I would prefer if they were only on one patch and not on consecutives.
