This is all very cool. I hope the shader crapola is investigated.
So basically Alexander. A more or less joke Nemesi with one dangerous move.
There are WILD range of lvl of defence in this expansion.
Trust me, there are build that can be OneShot, maybe not anymore with this patch.
Some builds have acces to crazy DA, High Armor, damage absorbtion, ect, more than ever before.
I doubt that the answer is to boost the defense of all builds
A part of the answer might be balance of skills
But Again, talking about it here won’t change anything
Prove your point the right way, winning won’t help your case because it’s not an argument.
Oh! So, where do I talk about it? Do you have the form, or a mail address?
And prove my point the right way? What’s the right way, professor?
Look, do yourself and myself a favor: look past the person posting, don’t try to make me look like a fool (because I ain’t!) and, either shutup if you have nothing to say, or argue the point not the person. The Underking didn’t need a nerf in the main campaign. A low HP melee squish build like this one facetanks him every time.
And this is true of a lot other nerfs on this patch. I didn’t even know people were complaining about Raddoth’s avalanche, for instance. How insane is that?
I said from the start he wasn’t hard to facetank
I guess you don’t need my help to make a foul out of yourself, you can’t read and you give free random attacks.
Have a nice day
Mate, I’m still struggling to understand what you are talking about. Maybe I’m dumb. But I don’t even care anymore. I came to realize GD plays just like a TV series to me. Very exciting early on, shows a lot of promise, but always disappoints as the seasons move on.
It’s just too many nerfs over its entire history! A game that always starts by trying to challenge you, but eventually caves in to pressure and nerfs itself down to boring levels of gameplay. Imagine what someone like me goes through, who likes to play full content on Normal and them jump to Ultimate and repeat. In a game that goes out of its way to extend a red carpet and almost apologize everytime it tries to kill me, it’s 3 weeks of a not so fun time levelling a build. The game almost begs me to speed level and forget all about the content. It’s not worth it.
It almost comical. This expansion started by making the game harder… and here we are, only a few weeks later. Same old.
Agreed. No reason whatsoever to nerf Underking. He’s extremely simple to facetank after avoiding his rock. Kuba is far more dangerous with his bleed pools on ascendant and feels like how a Nem should be. Underking’s rock is so easy to avoid, it SHOULD one shot you for getting hit ![]()
This also seems highly unnecessary. Shriek is fragile, completely harmless once you’re in melee and she stops throwing ice orbs, and the totems already had safe zones around them where you could stand in between the projectile paths. The boss is trivialized by moving slightly when her totem pops. The ice orbs were easily evaded through to the close gap.
Thank god. This one is deserved, especially combined with the leap attack having a giant invisible aoe.
But, every other boss nerf I disagree with or don’t understand why they were needed
Not in SR… Those orbs can oneshot you. You have to be close to kill him with many builds and he spams totems… Easily the most difficult nem in SR.
Some old sets can finally see some use again and have their last moment of glory.
Below sr38/40 she is too easy. And besides, the nerf was not specific to sr, so even outside it she will be nerfed
Why don’t they see many of these as being arena combat only issues, frankly boogles the mind…
Not true, I facetanked him on ultimate.
Kuba is far more dangerous with his bleed pools on ascendant
Speaking of Kuba on Ascendant, i’m surprised no one in the forum has mentioned, that with all the clones’s health combined, it has about as much health as the Dread. Maybe just me, it feels really weird for a Nemesis to have as much health as a boss meant to be between a Nemesis and an Uber boss like Callagadra or Ravager. Moosilauke has a similar issue, but its health is still not that much higher than other Nemeses (it’s around 16 million total).
This amount of health, mixed with damage reduction and healing pools, makes it really obnoxious for Vitality and Cold builds, which are its two highest res (specially vitality, which is 90%). Also at 25% health they get buff that gives them 20% damage absorption, making them take even longer to kill.
This issue is not present in SR, where the single clone has the same health as other Nemeses. Feels kind of weird for it to have such a gap in health between two modes that are meant to be similar in terms of stats and difficulty.
I can still kill it with vitality and cold builds on Ascendant, but to have to chew through so much health on an highly resistant enemy with healing and damage reduction, makes it not that fun in my opinion.
Yeah it’s been my experience with a Cold Evoker that the cold resistant Nemeses like Kuba and Raddoth and Moosilauke sure take a minute to get through on account of the limited RR available; it’s still faster than the Dread by a good chunk though on account of the Dread starting with 30% damage absorption and getting another 40% on the last 50% of the health bar.
Specially Cronley, i’ll say he’s the lamest story boss in my opinion.
Meanwhile Cronley in shattered realms: summons relentless sunder meteors, tosses powerful mini aether bolts at close range, reanimates undead, lays aether waste everywhere, has reduced dmg thanks to maiven along with his pesky aether crystals. Truly the duality of a man.
Nah, let him be a lame all bark no bite boss in story mode, or at least tune him down on shattered realms.

That’s what i want in Ascendant, specially the meteor rain, but aether colored.
Nah, let him be a lame all bark no bite boss in story mode
Surely he can get a glow up in ascendant while remaining lame in 3 other difficulties. In terms of revamping bosses, I think the context is for ascendant ie an optional version of the boss for people bored of the vanilla one

Yeah he does take much longer on my cold builds compared to other nems especially with altar buffs. I don’t mind too much since the other beast nem is such a pushover. At least kuba makes me press buttons and stuff. But if he lost some health I wouldn’t really complain
All Nemesis MIs can now drop in the Shattered Realm, with newer MIs being more rare.
OHHH! So that was the plan all along! Then why’d you say earlier that those new Nemesis MIs weren’t going to drop, you little rascal? ![]()
Guess you don’t need to farm Kaisan in the main campaign for its amulet anymore.
Fixed missing localization for the Remnant of the Dread quest following its reset in v1.3.0.6. This blocked the ability to enable/disable the Dread in non-English.
Glad to see my feedback come in handy ![]()
