Except Arcanist already has shit single target damage. The only dedicated single target spell Arcanist has is rather shit in most cases. And ultimately, single target is the name of the game in GD come lategame.

when night-time, it’s not bad but… I think make bit darker during day&night-time would be better
daylight is still too bright, and night is not looks like “proper” night.
(but too dark night will be not good for player so suggesting just bit darker than now)

OPie? It was almost useless for ages and become usefull only after a few buff`s and CDR reduction. Dont forget this spell come with the squishiest mastery in GD >_>

… larger bosses seemed to make no real difference (ant queen takedown on devastation each phase in ultimate debuffed with manticore)
… smaller guys … hmmm … went from one hit similar kills to a general impression of damage about half (Cromley etc) so two casts required.
I’m guessing that against husky nemeses it’s no real problem, but it is a hit, and makes beam look more attractive, if a little more dangerous

Lol, i know someone who planned to use this to farm for the Decree when i told him about it.
I recently managed to balance things on the Maelstrom such a way that i got two scaled hides in. These changes will definitely improve the build a lot more. Awesome
Has someone used it now? I still can’t see what’s wrong with giving 100% conversion though.
I see some posts calling this a big nerf and some calling it a minor nerf. Really how big of a deal is it?
From what i can tell the nerf doesn’t render it completely useless on bosses, the damage potential has gotten reduced a bit. And overall boss killing speed just reduced a little. If anything a CDR build with Mirror and Devastation can still do great things. Am i wrong?

About the adjusted ligthting, this is something where you’ll probably never going to be able to please everyone, but my personal opinion is… that the game looks now better than it ever did before. Honestly, I’m digging it. I ran into a reanimator and they never have looked better, that unnatural green looked great. There might still be places where the lighting doesn’t look that great now, but I’m confident Crate can do more adjustments if needed.
Actually I did notice one place, the ground in main menu still looks a bit washed out. It’s more white than green/brown.
Anything on the OA fix for GoG? Seems to me like it’s much more than a 5% Oa increase. On characters with full physique and defensive augments even arsonists have 4% to crit. Fabius 12%. Other than making all builds go for Solemn watcher and Menhir i’m not sure what would counter such a thing. Even fumble mechanics don’t save you from that, life steal I won’t even go there you can hardly feel it.

Ok so this runic bracer change is another one of these…
I’d really like to know, of whoever at crate thought this would be the right direction, what the intention of this change was. Except completely annihilating something mediocre at best. (no really I’d like to know where it was so op it needed a nerf and how to properly use it in it’s current state)
Already with it’s old values it was barely useful, simply because of it’s meta. 8/20 uptime was already quite bad to really rely on it. And if you didn’t need it… well, you simply wouldn’t use it.
And as in most cases there’s only max resist, and in few cases like Fabius or Valderan even overcapped, or you’re dead this skill offers outright nothing.
And without max resists the low upkeep makes it too unreliable again, terminating it’s use there too.
And that’s without the fact counting that crappy AUTO CAST in… it makes tactical triggering impossible, and once it did it’s more than 5x the upkeep to gain it again…
If I count this together I barely can think of anything more useless.
Same goes for the trousers, ofc.
The old values with a direct trigger could be useful. Maybe slightly lowered resistance values with a bit better upkeep.
Well, I didn’t use these two at all before, so… but as I love diversion it’s a letdown still.
Thanks for the Hotfix Crate, the life steal bug was pretty serious and you fixed it in a few hours. Good job!
But please do something else about the lighting. I don’t know if you’re playing with monitors with wrong calibration, but thel ighting (especially with postprocessing on) is still too bright and saturated, far for the grim look the game should have. And it’s not only a matter of visual taste, but also a matter of practicality: with some enemies/builds skill effects and explosions are so shiny you are blinded by so much light., as some others have reported.
In future you should put some options for customizing some of these aspects (the gamma one is not enough).
