I take it you can easily beat Shar’Zul and his BoC brethren, farm all the nemesis including Zantarin and kill the Mad Queen without backing off when she gets her periods, and also clear 150 waves of gladiator.
GD is quite good at meeting user’s expectations, especially the ones who remember good old times. So I have no doubts the expansion will be worth the wait and the money.
I was slightly upset because from what I’ve heard, design and animation takes 70% of development time. Server-side programming and programming in general is a minor part. And first alphas are being assembled after most of the visuals are done.
From this GM it seems like the visuals are still in progress, so we’re not close to the release (my vision of close is a few months). Which you guys seem to agree with, unfortunately.

Leech resistance helps but not as much as resistance to %life reducing atacks. Menhir’s Bulwark is the best at that. It’s a rare stat.
Vitality resistance helps but she cuts your Vitality and DA in half even if you overcap.
Lichguard Epic might help help with that a bit but I haven’t tried it yet.
EDIT: On topic, I love the third set of armor. I love heavy armor in genereal.
I would make sense if gear max was increased to lvl 85 and character max went to lvl 100
That heavy armor looks awesome! Also, Zantai just casually dropping hints about new masteries.
Really nice armors i really hope for new mastery that we get something like chaos/cold/aether or something that can use shield as weapon like defense from Titan quest .
A new mastery in the expansion has been known/promised for years!
Some cold to vitality conversion would be nice.

The armor set reminded me of Guild Wars.
I am new to the game and my highest character is level 40. I haven’t finished Normal difficulty yet.
I would love to see some heavy armor like the ones you could see in Warcraft 3 (RTS), example the foot soldiers of the Human race, full plate armor and all that.
Also, Guild Wars used to have dyes with which you could color your armor.
Add more majestic hats please!!!

Those look pretty cool, but I’ll have to agree with the others that the heavy helmet looks pretty off with that armor set.
It looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi, cyberbunk movie or game.
This is wonderful.
I love how the helmet looks like. This is what I want to see, some really intimidating, alien-esque, fantasy-ish, prestigious helmets (and armor and shields).
You’re starting to make me want to make a wardrobe mod for the game…
Of course, I absolutely suck at coding, so it will never happen.
But I want it to happen.
