Grim Misadventure #115: Dressed to Necromance

Very interesting modifier on the visage. Hope we see more of these on the remaining expansion sets/items in general.

Question on +2 Hungering Void on the Robes. Does this mean some devotions+their abilities (Dying God) will be renamed and reworked?

Edit: The set is very sexy just to be clear.

Nope, just too many skill names…overlap corrected.

Necromancer not needed, show us the Inquisitor’s set

Yes, first thing I noticed was that sick hat… MOOOORE, GIVE ME MORE ♫

Guess i can use Necromancer items to trade for stuff i actually want. Hope a legendary set for Inquisitor is revealed in the future.

I´m very exited about this expansion!

Just started playing this game through GoG a few days ago (bought it a couple months ago but haven´t had time to play it for a while). I still haven´t finished the campaign (Fort Ikon atm), but I´m really loving the game. Currently playing with an Occultist/Shaman summoner, and now I can´t wait for you guys to release this so I can start raising me some skellies. (I love summoner types in these kind of games)

I hope it was sarcastic, anyway… I want a Necromancer, not Vladimir or Legolas lol

Nice. The helm better be reworked to have MLG glasses in game tho :p:rolleyes:

Looks like a pretty well rounded set as well IMO.

Nice work guys

Dont know if it has been said before can you have the item set bonus if you have a mythical and normal legendary ?(have more than 1300 hrs and still haven’t complete Nightblade set…)

thanks

On the flip side, items that gave you bonuses to celestial powers could be interesting, in a “this would be way too much work for what it’d probably add to the game” sort of way.

I’m guessing not, since the way it is now normal and empowered epics belong to technically different sets. I’m assuming mythicals will be the same way.

The set shown looks to be for a caster based build not a pet build.

Necro pets we’ve been told there will be 2 temporary (skeleton mob/spooky ghost) and 1 permanent which we have yet to see and the pets will scale with pet based bonuses I believe.

gif me now :stuck_out_tongue:

thats why i want the tooltips ^^ or if you hover a skill then the class pops up, come´on

Drain Essence can crit?

A channeled dot can crit?

A channeled dot that deals potentially unresisted damage that can also heal you can crit?

Do the heals crit?

Should I just shut up about this potentially overpowered mechanic?

Grim Dawn: Not Steampunk

How about “Grim Dawn - Faith and Dark Arts.”
Not literal enough? “Grim Dawn - Necromancer and Inquisitor Expansion.”
Not cliche enough? “Grim Dawn - Light and Darkness.”
Not lore-y enough? “Grim Dawn - Journey into Ugdenbog.”
Not wanting to be sued by Hearthstone lawyers? “Grim Dawn - Old Gods”
“Grim Dawn - Planar Wars”
“Grim Dawn - Humanity’s Brink”
“Grim Dawn - Invasion of the Body Snatchers”
“Grim Dawn - Flesh and Blood”
“Grim Dawn - Dusk of Man”
“Grim Dawn - The Second Invasion”
“Grim Dawn - Witches and Working Wave Skills”
“Grim Dawn - Cash Grab”

“Grim Dawn - The Eternal Yawn”

Kappa

Modifier on the helm that gives 8% crit chance to a skill, does that mean that this is a Mythical item?

If so, why doesn’t it have Mythical in front of its name?
If not, does that mean “basic - non mythical” legendary items will have skill modifiers?

Being Mythical has nothing to do with it.

Mythical items are simply lower level Unique equipment translated to higher levels (ex. Level 50 Legendary gets a level 94 Mythical version).

The equipment in this preview is level 94 baseline and does not have lower level versions.
