Zantai can you PLLEEEEAAASE tell us what time it will be released!? I’m not going to book Wednesday off work, if it doesn’t come out until 9AM PST, because that is lunch-time ish GMT so I could get away with a half day. Likewise if it comes out at noon PST, that is dinner time GMT (18-19ish) so I would book the Thursday off instead! As I don’t have the luxury of wasting my holiday on two days it would be HUGELY appreciated if YOU (nobody else estimating a time) could tell us when it is released, thanks!

In the midst of all the hype I just want to say that Aether Armor Set looks fan-fucking-tastic
Vanilla GD we had to usually get really good greens from Cronley’s men to get such cool looking aether stuff but glad to see legendary aether items can finally compete now in terms of style

Yeah it’s anybody’s guess on the release time… .Steam release some games at midnight, some at the sale change time (18:00 GMT) Some people say its early morning PST, some say noon… >_> would rather Zantai just told us, unless it’s not his decision and instead falls on steam’s shoulders?

I’m not sure if this question has been answered before or not, but:
It has been said that items will be retroactively changed to support the new masteries. However, if you don’t have those masteries, I assume the items will remain as they were before? It wouldn’t make sense to change a +1 to a skill in the core 6 masteries to one of the expansion mastery, if you don’t have that mastery.
Is this how it will work? Will there be two forks of the game to balance? Or will you get the gear with +1 to a skill/mastery you don’t have access to?

Its just rng, ull get modifiers (new feature) or + x skills items for new classes (any rarity).
Just imagine with the old loot it will be harder to start leveling right away with necro or inquisitor.
This would be great. My job starts at 3am GMT so would be nice to have an idea of what time they were aiming for. If it’s going to be after 5pm GMT then no point me waiting as I need to head to bed then. Or even if it’ll actually be closer to the 12th for GMT because of timezones and stuff.

Anyways, the release date is perfect for me, I already got my girlfriend’s permission to play 24 hours a day on that weekend, so everything looks fine

Yeah, this place is gonna be a minefield. At least there’s already a spoiler thread for lore discussion, but I’m not sure about everything else. Would be nice if there was a dedicated subforum for threads containing any kind of xpac spoilers, but even then there will probably still be stray ones floating around elsewhere.
Resisting the temptation to look at all the new items on GrimTools in a few days time is gonna be hard too.
If need be I might make a dedicated spoiler thread for the major things to keep minimize the stray spoilers.
