Grim Misadventure #137: A Patch Near You

Since this affects campaign, builds that kill superbosses(Mog, Ravager) by stacking DA get hit too. Can’t say that makes me happy, as I enjoyed killing superbosses with larger build variety. But if this means more Crucible diversity, then the change is worth it.

Forgotten Gods will have new class or not ?

Forgotten Gods will have new class or not ?

u mad bro?

That’s a one ugly shit. I mean ugly Kraken. Please don’t make me look at this ugly face ever again, it’s enough I have to prepare a vomit bag after entering his nest to beat a difficulty level. I actually would love it if you remade this model for that Kraken.

Great stuff, especially that goddamn Nemesis tracker!

But y’all really need to nerf Ravager, as it is, life’s too short to spend an hour whittling his health down. I’m not saying make him easy, make him as hard as oh IDK, Mogdrogen’s Avatar. Is that too much to ask?

Why do you think he’s mad? Just asking a question that many others have asked. The answer is we’re still waiting to hear on that one moecoffee059.

The detail in the artwork is amazing devs. Boss ain’t bad either. It’s one big, ugly brute of a boss.

Cant wait to carve up some seafood! I wonder what the MIs will be

Niiiiiice!
Interested to see the changes for the pet skills
My body is ready.
Thank you devs for continuing to maintain and improve an already outstanding game.

I have now accepted the way the boss looks. One thing I am expecting from it: it should hit like a mad truck. Should surprise me and even one hit my solid built characters if possible. This is clearly and optional boss so it must be powerful. In comparison, Loghorrean is a necessary story boss and it was sleeping for centuries so we can totally understand its weak status and lame attacks. But I will never accept " Ancient of Waters" to be a weakling of a boss. Should be worth the hype if it is included first page in a misadventure. Will be sad also if its weaker than Gargabol. Please Crate!

Yes, but Kravall only has two eyes
So he can only see you about half as well as Loghorrean

So does the update also include “big anime eyes” since it cames with tentacles?
Bet there are some intresting mechanics involving the arena on the boss fight.
Also we ought to get a new crafting formula for some sushi since we clearly are going to slice&dice some fresh octo…

Really looking forward to see all the new content and changes.

Just regarding the DA change i am a bit sceptical.
Capping the hit cap at 60% means that it will already start getting into effect at values like ~3100 DA. But maybe it will not even matter at all. Will see how this plays out in the game.

Oh come on! Where would you expect him to put the info other than on the first page That’s the whole point of having the GMs.

What’s the problem with this, as that’s the whole point of the change, to stop stacking DA being overly powerful, and 3K DA has been an expected amount for ultimate builds for ages…so what’s the worry, unless you only run high DA builds

So.
Guys, can someone clarify where effective DA against nemesis ends? From what I’ve read it’s going to be around 4k, stacking more will become useless.
Also, nightblade has a noticeable amount of evasion through Shadow Dance. Since the bosses will always have at least 60% chance to hit this won’t stack with DA anymore and nighblades will lose even more than everyone else. To get some impact from Shadow Dance their effective DA must stop at 3,5k or something like that.

At first glance this change will bring more variety inside builds (gear, devotions), but will narrow the range of builds for last waves of gladiator crucible.

Avoid is a different mechanism. I guess with a certain amount of pessimism you could interpret what Zantai has said that way but I don’t think that is what he’s trying to communicate. Zantai said, “Defensive Ability is capped at 60% Chance to Hit, meaning enemies will never have a lower than 60% chance to hit you,” and I would add something like “in that layer of defense.

I get that you’d want dev confirmation though. Can’t blame you.

Versus Nemesis monsters, 3791 DA caps your “dodge” chance, vs. Mogdrogen, 4267, vs. Ravager, 4150. Ravager has 111 less OA than Mogdrogen. This is calculated without any reductions or increases.

One hit that also applies an uncleansable dot that kills you while you panic & spam your potion?

I don’t know, possibly:)

Hmm. Perhaps.
