Oops forgot about that, haven’t played Inquisitor much obviously
Though there is nothing else whatsoever in Inquisitor to support Chaos, so it seems a bit misplaced there given the investment required, except perhaps combining with Aether/Fire.

I don’t know if they will change some of these types of skill mods on gear to be in line with Scion of Dreeg modifier, from Conjure Guardian of Empyrion, but it seems reasonable to do so in some cases. Dunno if CoF would be a good choice for this because of the scaling of Physical RR is quite different from Chaos and other damage types, though they could mod the bleed RR instead.
Right now someone with a Darkblaze set generally spends one point on CoF (or a couple more for increased AoE) and forget about it, with the mod converting the RR it would be better to spend more points to have more RR, going up to -40% or so with full overcap.
It will be competitive in the same way savagery is.
Yes. Same author of the skill too. Zantai ( the stack attack lover= savagery, now righteous fervor possibly author of belgothian strike and aether auto attack and elemental component auto attack?)
ot:
I am not sure who did skills and mastery better. you guys decide? what if they swapped, woukd have zantai made a better soldier and medierra a better inquisitor? :eek:
Remember this mastery creations is like Zantai vs Medierra.
correct me if im wrong:
Zantai= Necro, Inquisitor, Shaman, Oathkeeper
Medierra= Soldier, Nightblade, Arcanist, Demo and Occultist(?l)
So is that shadow oculus effect in-engine, or is it being added in “post”?
Zantai made Arcanist, possible occult too
good point. thanks for clarifying.
Now we know who cant live without any exclusive skills. Kudos to medierra for making demo and nighblade without any exclusive skills, looking at you saboteur
Except Medierra’s the one who came up with them.
The original Exclusive skills were in the Soldier mastery and were cooldown abilities.
I worked on the Nightblade a bit, but the original four masteries were Medierra’s design. Arcanist, Shaman, Inquisitor, Necromancer and now Oathkeeper were spearheaded by me. Ultimately it’s a collaborative process though. I’ve meddled with the first four masteries since then, and Medierra’s given input on the newer ones.
not sure what you are referring to, but I expect all pics to be screenshots, ie what you see is in-engine
glad to know teamwork is at the heart at Crate!
It makes us believe in you guys even more!
so when we play paladin and suddenly it goes haywire, we can blame the entire team and not just you Zantai! Best strategy ever!
I’m assuming he means the fade in/fade out effects on the gifs.
Someone look up “emblazoned” before release.
in that case, that is the GIF I assume, would not expect the skill to do anything like that
Same thing I thought as well and then my conclusion was that they want to have one skill aimed for casters and one for melee, so that’s why they swapped the two. I am not good in math but I am sure that it makes senses number-wise somehow.
You think Chaos is linked to the Witch gods while it is not
Dreeg = poison/acid
Solael = vitality
Bysmiel = summons
Chaos is linked to Chton and has nothing to do with the Witch gods.
Oh yes, I remember, I used to have both and use them both… Old good times.
PS: Zantai please show defensive skills next, cause hardcore players deserves some love too. You showed way too many offensive stuff and… it’s as shield mastery!!! Where are the defenses??? I was under the impression that the Oathkeeper would have had some really mindblowing defensive skills. Where are they!? Show few of them next please!!
PPS: I am not complaining I am just curious!
That’s not entirely accurate though. Chaos is associated with all three of the Witch Gods. It isn’t their dominant damage type but they harness a bit of it. Ulzuin also is a known user of Chaos and I believe so is Korvaak.
Chthon is the most prominent user and modestly speaking he appears to be the strongest user.
Chaos energy appears to be accessible to people by channeling energy from negative emotions or actions. Kind of like the dark side of The Force. There should be many users of it.
Oh my god… a reply from Chton itself!!
Btw, dear dead god, I was referring to the “main” trait of the witch gods, which, for me, still stands as before. That chaos can be found a little bit everywhere is true but for me, saying that chaos characterizes the witch gods is somehow misleading if you look at them in their “main” attributes (poison, vitality, pets).
Anyway I guess we have a 140 pages long thread for this and is the lore-spoiler discussion one. Sorry for having distressed from the main thread.
This is backwards. Chthon -> Vitality, Solael -> Chaos.
solael and cthon have the highest presence of chaos. wonder who would win in a fight, one on one.
Not at all.
