Grim Misadventure #156: Korvan Cartography

Damn guys!! I already spent 2400 h on this game on this game whyyyy did I come looking here

Worst thing was the spoilers video with zentai showing the new poison pet set (the one with the dinosaur/ravasour looking thing) - my jaws dropped.
Not to mention I always wanted a poison pet build.

Looking really good. I have been holding off finishing my playthrough for the new changes and stuff. Should be awesome.

I am waiting as well. Beat Titan Quest AE:Ragnarok in the meanwhile, completing all achievements in 500 hours. The game is really not to par with Grim Dawn anymore, but oh well.

1700 hours in @ Grim Dawn and can’t wait to add some more.

Is it me or does the pyramid have a different design on the map then the one on the website?

Im not sure, but it looks like the Game adds at least less than Ashes of Malmouth. Am i reading that wrong or is that correct? I Mean less Item Bosses etc.

But whatever i will buy it anyway

Thanks in advance guys

The game adds less new items and less sq. km of land, but adds other types of content that take a lot of development time and are proportionally more end value for the player. Namely movement skill augments, the huge diversity of biomes in the new areas, and replayability of shattered realms (which has >50 levels that are probably not counted in the sq. km of land but if they were, would drastically increase it).

No idea if this is where or how the map inset will actually appear, but I matched up the background of the picture with the current world map:

I dont believe it works this way, cause Malmouth added more sq. km. to the game and is less compared to the map of forgotten gods.

You can check one of the recent streams with Grava and he pulled up the full world map and it looked pretty much like this, with the Forgotten Gods map inserted in the bottom right corner.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to go to the Korvan region through a teleport in the temple of the three?A teleport behind the attendant of the three?
I understand that they want us to access the new area after act 1 but I don’t know it kind of clicks better for me
You would had to had finished the Hidden path quest too tho so…

The thing is that you need to make it obvious because it’s an extra chapter for the game. You can put the portal to the new act of the expansion in a secret quest.

I know right? It would make sense if it wasn’t secret quest indeed
Cant wait to to talk to the Attendant upon release. Maybe they start talking to him again

I would love to have a physical paper copy of that Korvan Basin map.

The new map is awesome and the sets are obvious fun grinding material

Have you ever been so excited for something that you literally want to scream, since you were a kid? I haven’t felt such childish joy and excitement over the anticipation of something, in many many years, as I do over this expansion. My hype is so far off my own charts that I don’t know what to do with it lol.

Trailer, date, some release changes maybe, give us something…
Maybe some hint, if demo gets some love?..

Trailer’s being worked on, we know that as Grava mentioned it in the latest stream, demo got some love in 1.0.7.0

Whether it’ll get anymore …

Next Grim Misadventure is on Monday so we wait to see what that will reveal.

Well considering its the acheivements are on steam, its going to be a trailer/realease date/ acctually release

So be happy friends its coming

Just a quick question, are you planning to further increase stash space (especially shared, I don’t care about character, there’s enough single character space already). However shared is still painfully low in comparison.

It would be even way better to shrink character stash space to even only one page and add all of those other pages to shared.

I just cannot understand how anyone could disagree. This would be extremely crucial for HC characters especially because we just lose so much when we die. I have my shared stash completely stuffed with legendary sets and I can’t even stash lower lvl versions anymore. Even if I only stash like 94 lvl versions it is still not enough, it is just painfully small and I always have to make very tough decisions on what do keep. I always have to dismantle like 99% of stuff anyway, including legendaries. It is very painfull.

I know I could use GD stash but I don’t like how the program works with database and everything. I’d love to see something looking like ingame stash but with infinite room (or at last way more than what we have currently).

Making a game with such a huge variety of items with such a small inventory is a mistake in my book. I mean we could go for a ā€œlimited optionsā€ meta, where you could say that’s what’s intended to make a game ā€œharderā€. However I don’t agree you should be making game harder by limitations of that nature. Bottom line you could cheat all of the items anyway if that’s your flavor, so why not make something to ease the life of ā€œlegitā€ and especially HC players. I would make a HUGE difference!

And all those tabs on a single character are kinda reduntant, I only ever need 1 page for a single toon. Let’s transfer all that into shared at least, we would get like 4 or 5 more shared tabs which would already be way better.

And remember we are getting even more awesome new items with FG, so with zero stash improvements situation will get even worse.

We are getting one extra personal and transfer stash tab when FG releases.
