i am personally very excited about this, not only because an early farmable MI will be fun in the game but also because I just designed his card in my GD CCG/deckbuilder idea (not for profit, for everyone here to play around with and for self enjoyment nothing more). A loot drop upon defeating his card will make the early game a lot more exciting, as he is currently a Level 3 Legendary Monster- a card that can enter play as early as turn 4!

motherfiiiiing squeeeeeeeeee (dont dare add it to the SR pool)

Honestly I found that neither the Crucible nor the Shattered Realm are that worth the investment. You to fight a loooooong time in order to get to your rewards, and it might happen to be some legendary you already have. On the other hand, I can do several Nemesis runs in the same amount of time, and also run into Shrines on the way that yield more Legendaries in the same amount of time.

I like the challenge of Crucible and that it receives attention this time. I don’t care about legendaries per hour.

Interesting. Are the Ilgorr MIs that got added recently in the SR Pool? Does anybody know? I haven’t farmed SR in a while

I think it would be OK to remove most of MI`s from SR/Cruci loot tables as this would guide people to play more the basic game.

Yeah good idea, force other People’s to play a mode which they might not prefer and limit the diversity of modes how you can get your gear rolleyes

But on a Serious Note… one of the Reason why i like GD so much is due it offers a variety of option to enjoy the Endgame and Grind for Gear… you can either play Basegame / Expansions by doing Farming-Routes, Nemesis, Bosses, Roguelike Dungeons, or do a Arena-Wave Mode with Crucible, or simply do challenge (endless) Dungeon wit SR. So -1 to your suggestion from my side, we don’t need to take away alternatives to farm for MI’s / Gear only because some Folks are butthurt over the fact that some People prefer to Grind in Crucible or SR.

This is awesome news.

Btw, can someone please link me the location of the new bridges in Burrwitch and East Marsh?

The new bridge is opposite Harvey the Drifter’s house. The East Marsh bridge is a broken one that’s been there a long time, but now seems to extend further out than it did before when you look at it on the mini-map/main map.

Has anyone else noticed a suspicious amount of “extra space” out beyond the tier 4 devotions on the Devotions screen?

Is Crossroads your first tier?

I would not interpret anything into the surrounding space. The devotion screen was concepted to be expandable.

Oops, yes my bad!

I just dont recall there being THIS much extra space earlier in prior versions of the game. I could have overlooked it though.

Still, being conceived to be expansive is telling of Crates potential vision to build a little more in this area of the game, should other areas no longer be logical or realistic targets for expansion…

Yup. Were definitely getting new constellations.

To be fair they’ve pretty much always been like that. Devotions were added into the game in 2015 some months before the game released. They already knew they were making a first expansion (AoM) after that point so it only makes sense that they would be prepared to possibly expand such areas. Like eis says I wouldn’t read anything into the fact that there is extra “space” there. It doesn’t imply that there will be anymore expacs anymore than the fact that there is extra space on the world map.

Only its been clearly stated there will not ever be any more expacs, but to the best of my knowledge has never been stated that there will not ever be any new constellations added.

You can take both and safely assume they mean exactly the same thing. Without an expansion it is unlikely we see any official new masteries, without new masteries we will not be seeing any new constellations. One begets the other.

While its possible they “might” decide to tweak something that might call for a new devotion I’d wager any such circumstance would be very rare to occur and not worth holding your breath over. Devotions largely hinge upon the masteries and skills of the game and they all go hand-in-hand.

I don’t see that area being filled. Given the extent of power that the constellation map exhibits, e.g. progression in power as you expand out, then anything beyond the outer edge would imply it being even more potent and THAT would introduce a MASSIVE amount of balancing issues to contend with. Much the same a new mastery would. The resources to go into that would require something on the scale of an expansion DLC and given it’s been stated that financial gain really is NOT the prime motivator in them wanting to do this I think it’s likely not going to happen.

On a side note, as an artist, I have never understood stories/books/movies/tvshows that go on and on and on. I’m more than content to tell a story with some characters and then move on rather than staying with the same character over and over and over again. After a while, the shark gets jumped. I’ve seen this ruin ‘franchises’ way more often than it’s paid off. I kind of appreciate Crate for saying, you know, it’s at a high note. Let’s go out now so the game will always be remembered on a high note.

Are you fulfilling your desire to write a book? Ah, then it would have to be word, but not character count… :grimacing:

I mean, I already did, it just wasn’t very good!.
