Grim Misadventure #183 - Ascension

No, shard 25 will give you the skill point. And after you done it with your first char, you only need to do one each to get the point.

No, there are 3 skill points available in SR on Ultimate. One at 5, one at 15 and one at 25. You also get an attribute point at 25.

Yep. But if you do shard 30 you will unlock those points in a single stroke.

this is exactly my point of view of this game. sr and crucible are very boring. also I do not know why there is lvl limit for legendaries, waiting until lvl 94 to build up also needs lots of efford. I do know if they willing to change this, but this needs some attention IMO.

Great news! This is probably the feature I’ve been looking forward to THE MOST in FoA

Ascendant mode being equivalent to SR60 feels low, however. It’s good that I can amp the difficulty up to SR80 at the altar, but part of me still wishes that that number could go “infinitely higher” like in the actual SR. Hell, I don’t even care about the loot at a certain point; the challenge alone would be worth the fight!

SR is the most fun end-game mode right now; and I can’t wait to get a taste of the new Ascended mode!

I plead you, Crate Ent. Make Skeletons Great again! No longer shall they just be cannon fodder. Please make them durable with great damage. Make Skelemancers Great again!

Their reputation hasn’t allowed me to try them yet.

Skeletons aren’t that bad. They might go down faster than other summons, but you also get at least 10 of them, if not more if you specialize. And they don’t go down that easilty if you don’t neglect resistances and armor.
My aether skeleton spellbinder is doing great.

Because they would be overpowered early on, ofc.

cant wait to play

Exactly. And as it is, speed leveling allows you to steamroll campaign with fully equipped char around end of act 1/middle of act 2.

Such a terrible case of dev favoritism. Sure, Oathkeepers get all of those extras on a single skill - but what about other classes?

What what what? I was already surprised that the game got an update. Never did I expect another expansion. Never mind all the great stuff in here.

I even made a forum account just to say this. (Hi everyone )

A member of some other studio would say that this is an anomaly and not to get used to it. Crate is a gem among mostly developers.

This is the same crap AAA developers were saying when Baldur’s Gate 3 was making the rounds and getting praised by most people. Basically telling us to not expect quality from most games because it’s “unrealistic” to expect every game to be high quality and have actual polish.

This is exactly what I had in mind.

I will report my point of view in front of the majority, grim dawn is already among one of the largest ARPG in the world, in this new update we have, a new map, a new class, new skils, new weapons, new garments, new bildes, new game mechanics, for every type of fan there is nothing missing, besides waiting and respecting the time of the developers.

By the way… Funnily enough, I once had a dream about the third addition to GD. After about a year it came true and they announced it

As always, you guys at Crate continue to AMAZE me!

  • The one request I do have - could we please get a Very High Texture option (similar to the GrimTex mod but official) ??

Regardless, thanks as always for my favorite game of the past decade and I will continue throwing money/gifting copies to spread the word :+1: :+1:
