Grim Misadventure #192 - Settled

Can we please get more wigs or head illusions based on all the different NPC hairtyles in the game? I want my characters to look a bit different when I have my helmet invisible. There’s a mod called Hairstylist, but I don’t want to start over and collect all my illusions again.

Add them in the next expansion or in Loyalist Pack 4 and I’ll be happy to pay for them. I love playing female characters with an invisible helmet but with a nice hairstyle, something that I was doing with the Hairstylist mod until it became outdated and until I lost all my illusions.

I hear there is no chin underneath Jarldin’s beard. Only another fist.

I’m really stoked to see who the new Nemesis bosses are for Cronley’s, Death Vigil’s, and Eldritch. The originals are awesome designs, so I’m sure their partners will be equally as ferocious.

would’ve been pog if Malkadarr/Barthollem served as Nemesis bosses for their factions. probably too hard to implement properly but would be cool.

I’m excited. Can hardly wait for release of this new expansion.

Oh wow, that would be so cool. You could farm them for their gear!

But aetherials have only 1  unless we’re getting aetherials and aetherial vanguard merged?

I hope it’s a gunslinger. The game lacks good gunslinger human bosses after Darkvale.

on the notion of Nemesis
it’s kinda a shame a new expansion doesn’t bring with a new Aetherial and Chthonic nemesis just because those already had 2
The obvious fair solution is to bump the nemesis count to 3 across the board, so we also get a new Aetherial and Chthonic Nemesis this round

We can dream

What they are planning is going to be a ton of new bosses though. It’s going to be a great thing for the game.

The 3 Nemesis experience:

I’d honestly like more bosses like Kra’vall. Unique bosses just chilling in some corner of the map with a weird lore to justify their presence there.

Would love to see it.

I’m equal parts excited and disappointed by this latest update.

A leapquake style build sounds fun but also sad that Jarldin appears to have a non-functioning Kano eye laser.

Hey @Zantai. I absolutely love Grim Dawn and all DLC for it. I bought Grim Dawn with all DLC and i never regretted it. Developers and designers(and ofcourse the rest of the team) did great work. I will buy Fangs of Asterkarn as soon as it will be published in steam. But you announced it in 2023, now is 2025 and we still dont know the release date and its killing me. I love you but in the same time deep in my heart i hate you because you dont let me play with Fangs of Asterkarn DLC. With big regards to Crate team!

Oh btw… I totally forgot upheaval isn’t an auto crit. It is triggered by crits but has to roll for crit on its own.

In reality, resetting leap cooldown may not be so easy. Because essentially you need to roll for crit on DAR, and then roll for crit on upheaval itself.

Iirc having 3k OA vs 2k DA translates to 30% crit chance so in that scenario your chance for leap cd reset is 0.3*0.3, or 9% per autoattack. Hm.

This will obviously not work very well against specific bosses or ubers.

Edit: no wait, its 24% not 30% so odds would be less…

What we really need is the chance for Fabius to show up with any other nemesis spawn because that faction paid him to kill you.

Oh nice. Now we have leapquake at home.

Before I forget, regarding the beard and female chars: Why does it matter? Isn’t our gender… Hardcore?

It really wouldn’t matter much if the game didn’t have the option to choose a gender, but since it does, this has generated some discussions regarding the art models for armors.

The female beard-helm is obviously going to work the same way as in Loyalist Pack 3. Ie, non-issue, already solved in the game.

Exactly on my birthday! Anyway, any chance for a next wave of Praetorians?
