Have to wait and see man! Honestly, i would love if Crate just give us a UI loyalist Pack so we can choose what we want, maybe like different variations.
Don’t get me wrong, there are few things i love about the new UI for example the mastery, where the class background is fading into black looks beautiful.
When Zantai says it is and you can take part by going to the Public Play Test section of the forum when it’s opened up again and reading the FAQ there on how to join in.
@Zantai
I’d like a way to access the Crucible within the game, just like the SR, without losing the option to access it outside the game!
Also, being able to drag the minimap down or to any side like a floating window, or even an option in the HUD where it would stay at the bottom like in older versions.
And a Loyalist Pack with capes, giant swords, various faces (with beards, scars, hair) lol
I really hope the new interface will fully support the Steam Deck’s native resolution (1280x800) in the gamepad layout. Currently, there’s a message stating that the console UI doesn’t support this resolution each time i launch the game.
It would be amazing if the game could finally achieve Steam Deck Verified status alongside this UI rework. It would significantly improve the player experience on the handheld. Moreover, it should help with sales — both immediately through the ‘Verified’ filters in the Steam Store and as a cumulative effect in the long term.
The new features coming with the new UI is very nice. The class mastery where the illustration fades into black in my opinion is better than the previous version, it gives you that depth.
I guess the bronze is okish, but the lining seams are not sure how to put it exactly is kind of overly done in design and proportion vs the previous UI back to back lol. Sure, people will love that and i totally get it, out of emotions. Not sure this “New(er)U…I” theme is fitting for a game we know and love called Grim Dawn though.
It actually deserves something more rustic and brutal because of the world of cairn.
