Though it would be cool if the UI richness “scales” with player level, just like mob HP bars do. Low level, scrap, but at certain levels (35, 60, 90?) more and more gold details are added, just like champions have more gold accents than normal mobs, and bosses have even more.
Gear does somewhat the same; starts out like absolute scrap, then becomes more and more rich over time.
Sure, Grim Dawn is gritty and dark, but over time you become some immortal hero that saves the world thrice over. Some luster and riches can go with that, I feel.
I will cede that I feel the arrow on top is a bit off. The rest I like.
that’s just the normal skill ui/border, you can see the same empty black box left and right side, and red x is to close the skill window like usual
contrast with actual search window, not obstructed by filigree, search icon/magnifying glass
*now ofc, this would be the prime opportunity for Z to tell me i’m mistaken, and confirm we are getting skill search as recently requested
I do forget sometimes what skill belongs to which mastery. Mostly the secondary nodes though. But sadly I don’t think a search in the skill window is going to help with that
It would be interesting if, starting in the endgame, after completing 100% with all factions, a secret quest unlocked leading to an alliance camp between all factions. This camp would house a large market with representatives from each faction and their respective shops, accessible later using difficulty unlock stones. This would be wonderful for completing builds where you have to jump from one faction to another to improve resistances.
If this wasn’t possible in-game, it could be in the form of DLC, similar to the Crucible, which is accessed externally. That would also be very helpful!
Also exists in Grimarillion in the personal hideout in that mod. All the faction vendors are there available right from the start though obviously you still need to get your rep up to be able to buy stuff from them.
