It has this charm in it, despite being that old. I even adore that tiny hellhound model much more, although the current one isn’t bad either.

What’s the skill in slot 4?
Honestly I’m not sure. It does not appear to be used at all during the video and the character has auras on the quickbar, so maybe an aura of some type?
Also, it could be an early version of Possession which was a casted skill before Exclusive Skills were made all into auras. Possession used to make your character grow large/fast for a short time period like the TQ skill Colossus Form. There were problems getting through doorways, so it was changed at some point long ago.
Maybe some other old school GD player would know? That video was from way before the Kickstarter Alpha.

According to this comment by medierra from 2012, the skill was called Covenant of Solael and temporarily buffed acid, poison and chaos damage. It didn’t make it into the public alpha build (or was reworked into Blood of Dreeg, which does the same thing with Aspect of the Guardian).

Actually like the curse of frailty (Or whatever it is) apply animation. The current one in game is a bit of a nothing burger.

1.3.0 is up!
May 15, 2013. I still remember that day. Playing the alpha state with just 3 masteries and one act. The GUI then was so grim and felt very immersive. I only played like about an hour or two to get a feel of the game and I pretty much waited until Feb 25, 2016 to really grind the game. Here I am still waiting for more Grim Dawn.
