From the fluff text and the connection to the area, it seems the Great Annihilator is the main boss of the campaign

From GM #199, the Great Annihilator seems like another name for Ch’thon:

Canonically, we’ve pulled off some mean feats, but I don’t think we’ll end up fighting the progenitor of all mortal life (not directly, at least).
