I mean I need time off from work ![]()

To show you how out of touch you are, let me hijack a quote from the contemporary masters of the form ( of out of touchness )
- “Do you guys not have” … Insert something obvious here
Like: - Mastery Combos to level up (I thought I was done with that but second infiltrator went brr this weekend)
- Lives, no seriously Grim Dawn is a past time. But I guess if you have no before, there is no past after that? Maybe work on that, I also heard patience is key in everything in life… again if you have one.
- Builds to make for all the classes you’ve levelled.
- And many more … Books, movies, recreational activities (having a life needed), heck even, don’t tell Zantai I said this, as I don’t know how they’ll sustain their near-dead studio without you constantly and only playing their games, but other games.
EDIT: cat pressed submit, had to scramble to finish my thoughts.
P.S. - I adore the darker, more desaturated ambiance with a strong accent (or just grey and lifeless). I wonder if, lore/setting wise, that suggests encountering things worse than the Aetherial-birthing factory in Malmouth.
Ah yes… The original King of one shots with by far the biggest nuke attack in the game. Probably a distant ancestor of Aleksander to be honest. Way scarier though. Drops essentially a shower of Aleks’ meteors and comes with his own, like a 4 second stun too, so you can die before you even get a chance to perform an action if you get unlucky on his skill usage sequence and have no stun resistance ![]()
Seeing some reference to him in FoA would honestly be awesome.
One-third of 2026 has already passed. Will what I’ve been waiting for ever come?
“This is where your journey ends, BOY. Trapped and freezing at the roof of the world.” - Malganis
Beautiful! Cannot wait!
Well for those that aren’t losing their shit and making bizarre threats, I’m fairly confident we’ll be announcing the release date in May.
With every Grim Misadventure I get more and more excited, can’t wait for the release date whenever that is.
To all those being rude and impatient, remember good things come to those who wait.
I’d rather wait and see them finish and get everything (or even most) things right than rush to release.
Keep on rocking Crate! \m/
Zantai, I love you man. I cannot wait for this… HUGE GD fan and I am looking forward to this release more than any game, ever.
The Kurn really know how to build stairs! Malmouth could learn a thing or two if…nevermind.
Thanks for the tour! The environment is looking great.
Excited for release, but please take all the time you need!
Feasts take time to cook.
Thank god!!! Last night i dreamed i was reading announcement that it will gonna go into the later second half of the year because of MOAR
.We all want MOAR dont get me wrong but you just build up too much hype ![]()
I’d like to formally apologize for the behavior of our more, um, unrefined guests on this forum. The good people at GD deserve far less hate for what they have already accomplished, the capstone DLC to a generational product notwithstanding. So, from the bottom of my 1000-hour heart [I think; Steam hides hours after playtest
], thank you so much for delivering the best ARPG I have yet to play.

Ahhhh god yes!!! Thank you good lord for clarifying that! Please list on steam immediately then I can buy lol.
I’m guessing the new superboss will be the Great Annihilator? Or maybe the main boss of the campaign? In any case, the atmosphere is good, dark. In the style of the original GD (FG was a big departure from the original, although it was good in its own way). The first screenshot even gives me a strong sense of déjà vu. Like something out of some old game by the gamedev god, Avellone. Keep it up! (Although it’s better to remove the “liquid glass” effect from the UI—it looks terrible).
P.S.: Someone’s really lost their minds, if they’re even making threats. LOL! Guys, don’t rush the release! Polish everything to perfection, so you don’t release a piece of half-baked code, like ALL modern games.
From the fluff text and the connection to the area, it seems the Great Annihilator is the main boss of the campaign
Feels like some demon’s gonna yell “ENOUGH!” and proceed to corrupt a particular worldstone… I’m here for it. It looks fantastic
I suppose we’ll have to create a Wizard, name him Gandalf the Grey, and have him fight the Balrog at Celebdil’s Peak. Just for canonicity’s sake. )))
From GM #199, the Great Annihilator seems like another name for Ch’thon:
Canonically, we’ve pulled off some mean feats, but I don’t think we’ll end up fighting the progenitor of all mortal life (not directly, at least). ![]()
