When is this build coming out? is there an ETA or a “when its finished” kinda thing?

They don’t give ETA’s. But I would keep your eyes peeled close to the end of the month.

I started salivating… it doesnt stop. So ideas. Much great. Doge!

New core feature, very nice surprise!
I agreed if the gem colors are the same then maybe change the shapes for differentiate reasons.

I love this idea, and I think it has tons of potential. It’s always nice to add variety without bloating the game.

Thank you for all your hard work, Crate team. As others have said, I was not expecting to see something like this. While I generally enjoy all the editions you’ve added to the game in the last few months, it’s the ones that increase build diversity I love the most.

If you had a choice between two options it would be even better!:smiley:

Say with the Stun Jacks, one Transmute option was Quick Jacks(as stated) that lowered Stun but you could use it as a regular LMB skill or a second option could be Multi Jacks that had double the Jacks, kept the stun but lowered the damage by a lot…or a Crit Jacks or something. I’m sure Crate could think up much better options than me. :slight_smile:

That way you could have two people with a Stun Jacks build that plays completely different and could synergize well in a party.

Haha, I see everyone now has the same reaction I did when I have seen these changes during one of Alpha testers stream of B20 :slight_smile:

I hope in time all active skills will get an alternative.

BTW, with no arcanist or act 3 in B20, I thought I would have no reason to play from lvl 1 again but now I need to try this :slight_smile:

Even if they don’t modding can always do that now.

wow that is an amazing feature, i really love it ! i agree with others that a unique picture for the skill will be better but it’s only cosmetic. but my cold-based Blademaster can’t wait for trying Ring of Frost ! of course it won’t increase build diversity as much as the Arcanist’s release (can’t wait for that one too :stuck_out_tongue: ) but it’s still a great (and unexpected) improvement to the game.

It will be same as Diablo3 runes.
I think there are no reasons to make a lot useless skills. Transmuted skill should cover some areas where there are no enough skills and devs have not time to create new one.
For example there are no good spammable lightning skill. Stun jacks without cd will cover this.
Some players uses blade arc like dot. So 5s cooldown with damage boost will make their gameplay better.

Wow!, never expected this. More love for cold Nightblade builds, looks interesting. Was thinking of making a cold based build but think I’ll wait for B20 if it’s coming soon.

One quick question for devs or tester streamers (as I don’t watch streams of B20 unfortunately): will transmutation require skill point or Aether Shard (or something different) to get the mutated skill (guess based on the pictures)? =)

they use 1 skill point. in some of the transmutation you can spend 3 points depending on the class
