IMO B27 is the best build release since it hit Early Access and that’s all I’m going to say about it. Consider this my video sneak peek minus the video (clearly I’m not as cool as some of the others :).The only thing that’s going to be better (i’m guessing here but I’m probably right) is the release of Devotion and Legendaries and full release etc.

Honestly, with all this detail, why cannot we zoom in closer?

The significant others weep for the hours lost while we hunt these down.

grim dawn as third person slasher/shooter with lotsa abilities. dark messiah on steroids, yum.

Don’t worry I plan to mod one with lighting strike every second (like the Diablo 3 pylon effect)! :wink:

This is just a sample from over 240 Legendary items coming to Grim Dawn.

So medierra said don’t use TQ as an example of how GD is going to do legendaries.

I was wondering, do some also come with passive procs or permanent effects?

Do any modify a class skill?

Would you mind giving us one example of how legendary bonuses can “defy convention?” (With us keeping in mind that it’s all subject to change and that the given example may not be put into the game)

I’m probably biased but the weapons look better.
I sort of wish the demonslayer’s jacket had an insignia in the middle but that’s just personal taste.

I do find the Shadowflame mantle to look a little clunky. I feel that way about a few of the GD shoulder pieces though. Perhaps if a subtle black smoke sfx was attached to them? I dunno, just my feedback.

Awesome! They look really cool, can’t wait to know more about their power! On top of that, 240+ legendary is beyond great!!!

Also lol@ hoarders. I can already see the massive complaints about limited stash size.

Unless Crate has managed to overcome that engine limitation, its not possible for items to directly change the way a class skill works. The best we can get is +skills or skills granted directly from the Legendary itself.

I’d expect many - most, even, but I’m not a designer :stuck_out_tongue: - Legendaries to have granted skills associated with them.

At what level will legendary items start to drop?

They should start dropping from lvl 50+ enemies.

Btw, so these will be the equivalent of the “Mythic/legendary” Uniques (purple items) of Titan Quest?

Current best guess on B27, by or on the 28th. Possibly earlier though so they can have the weekend off instead of coding hotfixes :stuck_out_tongue:

I have become spoiled with your information releases. This one seemed a little light on content. I hope that means that all efforts are focused on getting B27 out the door. :wink:
