Or maybe bored enough after 10,000 years to give it a go?
Great stuff as always Crate!

No, no, no. It’s where your character goes to play snooker
If you need some ideas Crate, having a salt mine to conquer back would be a nice thing for the expansion. Something something aetherials
Finally, the micropurchase, city-building, rainbows and kitty-cats gameplay that we’ve all been clamoring for, comes to the Grim Dawn universe.
(I assume. 4 weeks to wait to find out more info, so I’ll have to let Brain-Cheney fill in the blanks for me.)
Hopefully we will also get the RMAH, Paragon levels, and end game content that we apparently need as well!

1.0.0.4 includes a variety of tuning changes in addition to what was previewed.
The Crucible, whatever it mysteriously might be, is not the expansion, which remains unannounced.
If you read Mornay’s dialogue, he mentions a fortress of salt rock (aka a salt mine)…content that didn’t ultimately make the cut.
It’s actually a new format of microtransactions called macrotransactions, where you buy access to a microtransaction store.
I remember back in early access I was so sure that the Outcast faction was going to be a band of survivors holed up in that salt mine he mentioned, and ever since finding out the truth I always wondered if that was going to come up at some point.
Just out of curiosity, why didn’t it make the cut? Time/cost constraints or it just didn’t seem as interesting in practice as it did in theory?
There’s no way this can be ‘new’.
Free Men of Corrigan Mine, you will be remembered.
Also referred to as ‘buying the game’ in some instances
Looking forward to the new patch! Just a couple of days left… or maybe a few hrs
I use crucibles at work all the time for thermite welds, and they get upwards of 3,000 degrees F. Hopefully this crucible is hotter than that!!!
I love the game guys. Thanks Crate for creating such an awesome damn game.
oh, great done!
I will gladly wait the release!
cheers, crate!
btw, I found the guy in the photo is wearing necromancer’s deathgrips.
I hope they don’t work on week ends!
they do… they’ve released builds on weekends in the past. I have my fingers crossed for a release tonight (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are historically the most common days for main build releases)
Is The Old Grove the Hidden Path or is it something else? Also, will we ever find out what that huge structure is to the north of Burrwitch Estates? (You know what I’m talking about.)
But he already had a pet you have to deal with in the last quest for Death’s Vigil. Sounds like he already has a hybrid pet build. Besides, after 10,000 years I would hope he would be able to perfect his build.
Well today is finally Friday and the end of the work week. Hoping to see a release today and I’m looking forward to playing ver. 1.4 when I get home! (assuming it is released today )
Anytime now…hold on to your horses gentlemen!
