I cannot play the game. Crashes all the time since the new patch and I am running Windows 11 with Kaspersky. It never did that before this patch. Crashes on loading screen and while ingame. Easy 7 to 10 crashes per day. I am running it on a laptop that is Acer A515-51G-5718. I don’t know what else can I say about the issue. Sending from my phone.
Verify game files, update drivers, clean up any old mods/do a clean installation, make sure other software (like Kaspersky, why do you even have this running?) isn’t interfering with the game, disable any overclocking, see if the issue persists if you wipe your my documents directory for the game and disable cloud saves.
There are a few problems with your solutions.
- I don’t want to risk updating drivers because they can cause instability in Windows. I had this problem before.
- I don’t want to risk losing my saved characters by uninstalling the game. I had issues with cloud steam and lost over 6 hours of gameplay.
Finally I might not have a choice but to wait for a new version.

It’s easy enough to move your save out of the cloud to back them on onto an external drive of some kind. Follow the instructions in this forum thread post.
You can then put them back once you’ve reinstalled the game. I’d advise not using cloud saving in future though as it does sometimes mess up as you’ve found. Stay on local saves and then just back them up regularly.
Also has updating to v1.3.0.6 helped at all?
