Guess the Oathkeeper Class Combo Names!

Keep the paladin love coming fellow crusader,

now hundreds of thousands have most certainly already started leveling up their inquistors in anticipation for the expansion release.l got mine inquisitor at lvl 57 beating aom boss and I will lvl up more at least 7 inqusitors for additional paladin build varieties to come.

.! Lucky for Inquistors class now it will end up to be the most popular most in demand mastery thanks to the naming decision.

I will play with the Oathkeeper and keep it pure until i have decided what 2nd mastery i will take.

I will keep Paladin love coming until the end times if I must! Oathkeeper was a treat and seeing Paladin as a combo, especially with inquisitor (or as I called it at home: gun paladin), was the deal sealer.

I was already gonna make the new class just for being shield based but Paladin as a combo… That almost made me jump and giggle like a little kid! And I love Inquisitor too so it was a win win situation!

Although I admit I was thinking that it would be either Inquisitor or Shaman. Both would be great. Demolitionist too but the name Shieldbreaker made it obvious it wouldn’t be.

I’m just gonna level one Inquisitor for now. I’m not one to try many builds for the same class combo, I like to get a build I enjoy and keep playing it. But who knows…?

Gotta say I’m not a very big fan of these names, especially Archon. I would go with something like Zealot. Sentinel doesn’t seem to fit well either, could use Heretic or Oathbreaker instead, maybe even Archon. Shieldbreaker doesn’t make much sense to me at all, seems like Sentinel would be a better choice since there is a scientific/physical component to many of those skills? Maybe I just haven’t read the right fantasy books?

Sentinel is based on the Sentinel boss in the Temple of the Three.

Oathbreaker does not make sense for Occultist + Oathkeeper either. They are still Oathkeepers but serve a different being (i.e. the Witch Gods).

Personally I’d prefer that Warlord was used for Soldier + Shaman instead, because Soldier has already some shield skills, while the Shaman has 2H skills, so it would fit well with a Warlord, a master of all weapon types, and that Oathkeeper + Soldier would be called Champion instead, like a “champion of the gods” or something…

But the current names are pretty fitting IMO, especially the Sentinel one, as it’s backed up by lore in-game.
