i think it would be awesome to have a castle either upgradable or modular, something that would require a lot of resources, just an idea!!

And just where do you think all that stone will come from? You’ll be waiting on traders to bring them for years. Maybe when they add the infinite queries or something. Right now though, you can sort of build walls that make your city look like a keep of some kind.
my understanding is they are already working on the lack of rocks, i also heard there may be an update that would allow you to request traders bring resources and pay a premium for them. either way its doable and would be amazing

But who would live in the castle ?
The land’s lord, his family and high skilled/high-born citizens
I think in higher tiers, the Town Hall should be upgrade to a small castle or become part of the castle (like a annexe)
We are in a medieval fame after all.
And the castle might be like agriculture with micro managements…
on my map I have at least like 20 mega rocks so I could probably build that lol
But the settlers have fled such a hierarchical structure. There is no land lord here from the start.
Someone might come to claim the land, but my towers and army will make short work of them

It will depend on the scale the Dev are aiming. but yeah we are a small town and soon enough the Land Lord will send armies and siege us as we grow stronger.
So I can definitely forsee a small castle when we reach population threshold (like 100,000 villagers?)
