It’s hard to see what you’re doing when you try to place roads and buildings under thick foliage in trees. I’d like a hotkey that toggles the trees to display as small stumps so it’s easy to see.

I tried the foliage setting. It only removes the grassy ground cover, doesn’t affect the leaves in the trees.
