This is the 2nd major forum rollback we’ve had. The first was early on and I think was due to a forum software upgrade that went bad.
The community survived then, it will survive now. Even if the forums are more active now, than back then.
Having said that, more frequent backups definitely need to be done going forward.

Gutted to hear the news, and I cannot imagine how stressed and busy you all are. My sympathy to everyone that’s lost their content.
The integrity of the forums have already been compromised to the point that even healing is done , the scars from this deadly attack will always show.
So I look forward as to how Crate will respond accordingly, perhaps maybe by providing perks to build makers and just compensation to the bereaved followers of such builds , assuring that no nerfs will ever befall them in the future

Suppose so, but every time I enter my password on this page my browser warns me the connection isn’t secure. I use a password manager generated random password, but still, this isn’t best practice I’m afraid.
