I reset my password this morning, but apparently it wasnât added to my password vault. Tried a password reset and got this odd email.
Thankfully, my work computer is still logged in, so I could post this. Who do I need to talk to about getting a password reset? Or is that weird Runescape email legit?
When in doubt, click nothing in the suspect email and go to the actual website of the account in question and reset the password there.
You can see where any links in an email lead to though without clicking on them.
Yes, I know better than to click them. I just found it odd that I got that email when I tried a password reset on these forums.
My main problem now is that I changed my password this morning, after the rollback, and I forgot it because LastPass didnât save the site. I tried the password reset, but it does nothing. Your forced password reset triggered for me, but since I didnât know the new current password, I canât change my password.
The only way I can even post this is because my work computer happened to still be logged in using the new password I set this morning.
Anyway, Iâm sure you guys have your hands full. please manually force a password reset for me, if you can. Iâll send you a PM with my email address on file.
