How does soulblade work exactly?

^Here’s the link to the item.

As you can see, it converts 100% of physical damage to fire damage to righteous fervor (RF)

Is this conversion global? Since the buff of RF lasts 2s, if I were to use callidor’s tempest, would my flat physical damage be fully converted to fire?

Hah good question. Does it work like Darkblaze Amulet (full Acid to Chaos conversion from all sources when BoD is active) or like Fire Strike modifier.

I assume the latter :stuck_out_tongue:

No, it’s an auto attack replacer. It works the same as Savagery, for example, the only buff you get is Consecration.

How does Korba helm “Lightning to Cold” conversion work on Savagery?
Will it affect only damage done by Savagery skill, or all damage as long as you have Savagery stacks?

Righteous Fervour is an attack replacer like Savagery. AFAIK conversion applied to attack replacers only convert damage from that attack. Global conversion has to be added to a passive boost.

The 2s duration only indicates how long you keep your accumulated charges.

EDIT : bah, 3 lines is too much.

Some bonuses from the charges are global, like OA/DA, slowres, physical resists from Savagery

you do fire damage with RF. That is all

also cunning Req sucks. Servitor Cleaver ftw

Inquisitor+Oauthkeeper fire build with this

You got half of the classes right:)

And what about WPS? If I used Mythical Soulblade to convert Phys > Fire on Righteous Fervor, and Smite procced during it…would 100% of the Phys on Smite also be converted to Fire because it procced “via” Righteous Fervor? And if so, would that only apply to Smite’s %WD, or would it also include the flat Phys damage it provides?

I’ve seen conflicting statements on this recently and I’m kinda confused about the whole thing now, so if anybody has a definite answer…

I’m afraid not. That’s why there are mods to convert WPS specifically.

only %phys> fire that is global works if no mods. Like on weapons or components or amulets

Figured as much. Boo.

Well, at least I know now.

You want us to choose Demo  :frowning:

Yes, and I will explain why with results as well. That’s about all can be said now about this class and demo

Demo is the cool mastery for cool people.

Inquisitor? Psh. So last year.

I read that in american teenage girl voice.

Yeah I kinda never keep up with the meta. It seems that i don’t play enough or im to focused on my own “builds” instead of copying what’s good at the moment.
I have inquisitor on 2 toons, one is pure inqusitor lvl 29? And second is a purifier lvl 61. I think ill start working on Paladin after I make my ritualist and Death Knight.

Hmm, it should not? I remember that nex chaos to cold mod on fire strike also convert the WPS. Resulting in burning void’s chaos to become cold.

this item is strange: https://www.grimtools.com/db/items/12249

It converted fire dmg to chaos, but RF has only burn dmg and chaos has no kind of dot dmg.

It only works if the weapon has fire dmg instead physical and all flat dmg from gear/devotion.

Is there a mistake for this conversion? maybe it have to convert phys. dmg to chaos dmg ?

It’s always cool when you’re creating your own builds and not just copying others. But I just can’t stop making Inquisitors, half of my end games contains that mastery:D.I like both DK and Ritualist and Paladin looks promising.I doubt Demo is going to be meta, but for fire it has synergy with OK mastery.
