Hunters traps cannot be deleted and notes for pacifist mode

I play on very easy and in addition on pacifist mode, which means

  • no bears and no wolfes
  1. But the building notes that less traps have not been placed?
    Without having bears and wolfs around there is no way, so this should be not listed at all in the building when playing pacifist mode. Read Point 3 too.

  2. I deleted a hunters building, which upgraded “automatically”, but the traps are still there, I cannot delete them?

  • by the way I would like to have a splitted auto upgrade, only living houses vs production buildings. At the moment, when deactivating auto upgrades I cannot manually upgrade the villagers houses even if they are ready for.
  1. Pacifist mode, maybe make it possible to have checkboxes to allow bears or/and wolfes? I mean a hunter still hunts deers, so why not wolfes and bears?
    OR make them be there in generall but without attacking the villagers actively.
  • this would also be more realistic. Pacifist is normally meant only for human attacks.

Traps are meant for small game, not wolves and boars. Those will still be around in Pacifist mode.

Ok, sorry, you are right, the traps are only for small animals and wild boars, but I haven’t seen any wild boars in my game. I am level 4 now.

To 2. I deleted a hunters building, which upgraded “automatically” to level 2, but the traps are still there, I cannot delete them?
Also, when it’s level 2, you cannot set traps to 0, to not let them use it. This would be helpful, f.i. if you have not enough iron.

The request for bears and wolves is an extra point for pacifist mode to be available as an option too, instead of not having those at all, for hunting.

Boars are predators and so don’t appear in Pacifist mode.

Known bug of not being able to delete traps or set them to zero.

Well, ok, if you don’t want to make it seperately possible, for me pacifist means only human predators, because if you hunt a dangerous animal, of course you can get hurt, but you get fur and meat as a benefit.

Also, normally wolves and bears do not hunt human beings, except they are starving or are attacked by humans. They are not naturally predators like marauder.

Boars are predators and so don’t appear in Pacifist mode.

There’s been a bunch of discussion for pacifist players to be able to enable predators, or for the raider option to have an additional setting to switch it completely off.

I see, well of course, every way could be wanted by a player.

I think it could be easily managed if at start

  • marauder can be set to NONE too,
  • and with the pacifist mode in addition

everyone could play the way they want :slight_smile:

I would then not use pacifist the next time, but would set marauder to none.

Yes, but this is the feedback channel. Telling someone with feedback that that’s not how it currently works seems counterintuitive to feedback.
