As title states I would like to assign the pickup and drop off of transport items. It would add a valuable management tool to the game play. I would also like to use horses to plow fields and transport people/goods faster than oxen.
actively agree. Forest Village has the best transportation system there. I hope you follow that.
I have not seen Forest River. However, I play several games with assigned transport, it adds a HUGE amount of management to the game play. IMO more game management is needed, as management is the entire point of Farthest Frontier.
This is definitely something I feel like that should be considered. When I built my first Wagon Workshop, I thought it would just keep creating them and “sell” them to worker buildings, so they can use it to transport resources.
On the other hand, it is definitely a good thing that not every worker uses a Wagon.
The idea of “assigning a specific route” is imo really great. That way the transports could be structured in a way, for example, that follow the safest/fastest/prettiest pathway.
For instance, that way players could make sure that the Wagons take the specifically upgraded stone paths for faster transportation speed.
Also, as a sidenote, it would be neat to see also some sort of “personell wagons”, which workers and co will use to ride together with the wagon to destinations. Basically like a public bus, but only for the specific people required for a construction/work process.
What I meant as an “assigned route” might not be specific as taking a certain road etc. I would like to assign the pickup and drop off of an assigned amount of goods to certain locations. I might not get to select the route, but I want to manage the pickup and drop off of goods. This feature is in many other games, it would add an entirely new management aspect to this game.
