IDEA) graveyard/cemetery role in a smaller settlement

this is from my draft comment -
I kinda wanted to pitch an idea of a graveyard/memorial upgrade to the devs with more detailed info about its dwellers.
living in a small community (that is a mere 100y since founded), we do honor and remember those who pioneered the settlement.
so at least tombs with names, occupation (or last job), family ties (or who visits), how died and at what age. e.g.
Nora, aged 23, a forager bravely fencing off a bear beast, succumbed to wounds - year 4.
Mark, the legendary market stocker. on the 17th year fell ill with typhus. just 57 years of age.
(like in Fallout 2 you read stuff on the headstones). then maybe upgrade 2 tiers to cemetery and mausoleum/memorial park.
perhaps even a named statue to honor those who really helped to build the town or got remembered for a feat.

btw, NICKNAMING a person could be a thing. at least when the town is small 100-150.
many villages of the period had that custom (that’s how some surnames were formed):
Joe “Popeye” the Smith. the ‘Hunchback Jane’ Whistler. Frodo ‘Baskets’ Baggins.
The townhall could also commemorate a settler by putting flowers on the grave for 3-5 gold, to perhaps improve the family’s or overall happiness by 2-3%, as a service.
but this introduces more mechanics. the first passage is informational only.

Welcome to the forum. :slightly_smiling_face:

You can already change the name of your villagers to whatever you want. And those names will be added to the list of names for villagers in future.
