I would like to have an optional auto-pause when changing seasons. This will help micromanage tasks.
So at the beginning of the year, you might want to check your planned harvests and hire farmers. Mid-season, switch the arborist’s harvesting circle from peaches to apples. End of harvest season, release all farmers and arborists and hire more miners. Auto-pause can be a good reminder and help avoid missing a season change.

Maybe provide a pin like feature, so you can choose to enable pauses on the timeline.
