If you could have 1 request to implement in grim dawn, what would it be?

Somehow being able to be recognized and start collecting reputation from (some) factions earlier would be great. Barrowholm comes immediately to mind because by the time you are recognized by them you have already gone through most of the Chthonic enemies in that particular difficulty. So to get to Respected status in Normal/Veteran for example you are forced to backtrack and ‘farm’ Chthonian areas or totems (or do bounties I guess). Coven of Ugdenbog is another but not so extreme because of the ubiquitousness of Beasts throughout the game.

Malmouth gets recognition relatively late in its difficulty playthrough but since all of its reputation enemies are concentrated right in its own act the issue isn’t as extreme as with Barrowholm.

My second request. Again, low on the totem pole, but it’s the little things that matter… sometimes.

Instead of clicking on that arrow, or scrolling down with the mouse wheel… being able to drag and expand that ‘border’ up (using that black space on the loading screen/lobby) so that I can see all of my characters. Yes, I have altism. I am altistic. I can’t help it. I am always thinking about different builds, even when I am playing a different character, especially if I really like a game. I truly do like this game a lot. Plus, it helps to combat a major case of insomnia.

Again, request #2. Speaking of #2, and altism… THE POOP THROWER OF DOOM AWAITS CREATION!!! Tho, I shall call it The Grim Poop Thrower. Or should it be Poopthrower or Poop-Thrower? Hmmmm…

Edit.

Actually, something that would have gameplay application and be a bit higher on the totem pole, being able to enter the stronghold of the opposing faction for greater roleplay and of course chosen faction reputation gain. Granted, that is, if GD2 has something along the lines of Kymon’s Chosen and Order of Death’s Vigil. Maybe even more than just 2 choices? That would be fun.

  1. Pet items getting %damage mods for the player as most items have. Would open up more niche hybrid builds. Players can still decide if they want to focus on sth from the player side or go full pet.

  2. A neutral class with jack-of-all-trades skills that support any playstyle in some way. Picking this “class” is only possible as the 2nd mastery and lets you keep your first mastery class name and acts as a “single mastery build” pick therefore.

A combat log with all damage done, applied to you, with damage types and sources. That would help in those cases where you take a dirt nap but really have no idea how that could happen, especially in hardcore.
