Interface is too small in 4k mode Make it adjustable Please

Please tell me you’re going to make the interfacing in game like windows so they can be enlarged? I run exclusively in 4k mode and the interface is so small I cannot read it.Which means the game is unplayable until you fix this overlooked problem… I had the same issue with another game of this type some years ago, and they never fixed it… This should be fixed quickly so I know I can either play this game or have to get my money back…

Thanks

Welcome.
You can increase UI scale up to x1.5 into interface settings. It it is not enough, well may be devs reply later.

I face the same problem. The scaling up to 1.5 does not scale up enough. It looks not good and downgrading the resolution is not the answer🙃 Please fix this asap, thx.

Yeah I’m hoping for increased scaling with 4K too as most of it is unreadable at present.

Hi, just come here to say that too

4K, UI Scale *1.5 is not enough to read, so to play.

Yeah 1.5 just does not cover it so I expect they will have to up that some more… or adjust what 1.5 get a player in the amount. Nice to see I’m not the only one with a problem with it…

Same boat. 1.5 isn’t enough for these tired old eyes.

Yeah. 1.5 scale on 4K is still too small for me

I remember when I was in my 30s and I used to have arguments with my boss about printing in 8pt font all the time. He claimed he had 20/20 vision but could not read any of the stuff I printed, I suggested that perhaps he no longer had 20/20. (to no avail)
I have noticed that people who think they have 20/20 vision never get checked again, after the first time, whereas those of us with glasses tend to get checked every year.

Whenever somebody complains about things being too small on a 4K monitor, one question comes to my mind: how big is the monitor?
From my calculations it seems that it has to be 37" or bigger for reasonable pixel density (below 120 ppi). If it’s smaller then, well, some things will appear small on it. That’s normal and you could’ve considered it before buying that monitor.

Not sure how it happened, but this topic (and some other) moved from Farthest Frontier to Grim Dawn forum section.

Same problem, UI Scaling maxed out doesn’t help with 4K 50inch monitor and I have 20/20 vision.

This was an oversite and needs to be corrected… its not a problem in other games of this genre.

Hi, i’ve just started playing the FF and immediately felt strong discomfort, apparently due to insufficient object scaling to 4k resolution. Menu is way to small, to the point when it’s hardly possible to read anything. The same goes for the description window of the resources. Maybe something else will show up, as i continue with the game.

Its the scaling that does not work fine. I have a 55“ screen and other games have a good scaling option. Further problem is that i am playing with german text and the text does not fit in the boxes.

The UI scale facter at 1.5 is fine for my 4k monitor, except that the menus stack weirdly and sometimes go off screen, such as the trading post. Definitely needs some attention.

Ditto, Amen. I agree, needs fixing please

Monitors are adjustable. Set 1080p for gaming.

55 inches?!?!?! Are you blind yet? My TV is 55" and I have to sit at least 4ft away from it. If that’s on your desk, then you must have an enormous office/gaming space to be able to see it! :astonished:

No no  its wall mounted and used as a tv also ;))
